Placements: I guess no other colleges will take so many efforts than REC for the students getting placed in the campus interview. More than 50 companies had come this year and 70% students have been placed so far. It includes core companies, IT companies, sales and marketing companies, and even some bank sectors have visited our campus this year for recruitment.
Placements: Great opportunities provided by the management for the placements. Good number of reputed companies came for the placement drive. Helpful for the students. Number of companies coming for recruiting the core streams can be increased a little bit for opportunities.
Placements: The placements are good for our batch and also for previous batches. The only problem was that most of them were IT firms and very few were of core companies of engineering. Otherwise, a good percentage of students have been placed right away. We are looking forward to more core openings in our college.
Placements: A separate placement department with dynamic staff have been set up in the college, and it is successful in providing placements for eligible students. Students are placed in various multinational companies with high pay. A good opportunity is provided to all students.
Placements: The placements at Rajalakshmi Engineering College is good if you are one among the students, who chose to work for an IT company and it could be a bit difficult for the non-IT aspirants as only a handsome of companies from non-IT conduct campus drives. The actual placement percentage is 70%. They provide the good platform for the students, who choose a career in the public services field and also for the students, who wish to pursue the higher education. The only issue is those placement coordin...
Placements: I got placed in an IT company. There were a lot of companies that approached our college with a decent salary package. Also, our college is well-known for the IT placements than core placements. But we have competent placement records in core companies also.
Placements: Placements were mostly in the IT field. TCS was one company where most of the students were placed. There were no placements here when it comes to the core automobile or the mechanical field. Only, Ashok Leyland and Sundaram Clayton were the only two core companies which came for the placements here. They selected only one student in the whole department.
Placements: As far as the placements are considered, there is not much to talk. They don't have the best campus placements, but they are not that bad either. They show the truth about the placements and tell the students frankly about them and keep them updated. If you are a good engineer with required skills, you may get a job here.
Placements: The placements for the year 2018 was really good. But on comparing with the previous year, its slightly on a fall. This year TCS recruited only around 350 students and this year Tech Mahindra did not show up. Wipro shortlisted only 7 Students this year. There are many startups and marketing based companies showing up this year which is awesome. The placement cell in REC is the best with the director Mr Philip doing a great Job. They arrange an Employability Camp for the third year students for a...
Placements: The placements were good. Nearly 80% students got placed. The highest salary offered was around 6.5LPA, and the lowest was 2.0LPA. Zoho, Vernalis, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, TCS, of, Sutherland, just dial, Maverick, premature, Software developer, BPO, KPO, GET etc. visit our college every year. Our college has a placement cell.
Placements: The placements were good when I started my degree, but currently, it was down. TCS is the major recruiter and several companies come for placements & Zoho will be the dream company for CSE & IT students. Many valuable pieces of training will be offered to the students subjected, and they did not have any standing arrears during 6th semester. Around 60% of the students are placed with salary package ranging from 8.5 CTC to 3 CTC.
Placements: Only IT companies visit the campus for the placement. There are no core companies for the placement. The students can get placement in the IT companies. Around, 65-75% of the students got placed. The different companies visit the campus to recruit the students.
Placements: IT and CSC stream have the considerable placement. In aeronautical, TCS is the only company recruiting that to only six members got placements with the salary of 25K per month. Wipro includes the interview process but no history that they selected in the aero stream. The other companies like Just dial and Uber offer the jobs in the marketing sectors. Overall, at the end of the college, almost 90% of the students got placed. TCS is the only company a mass recruiter, and Zoho, Amazon, L&T, Ashok L...
Placements: More chance of getting placed if there is no arrear. 70% would get placed in Tata Consultancy Service, and other 20% would get placed in some famous companies. Internship contacts are available with the respective department faculty. General advice not to have the history of arrear even one history could make you ineligible candidate for most companies.
Placements: The placements in REC are of the same standards as some of the other colleges in the city with service-based companies coming and recruiting in huge numbers and several product based companies coming to the campus as well. But they usually take up only a few of the deserving candidates. The biggest recruiter is TCS, recruiting close to half of the students sitting for the placements. The core companies too come with offers but only hire the students with the most credentials, and their count is ...
Placements: In 2018 batch, 379 members are placed in TCS(TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICE) and 12 placed in Wipro. Many companies like Amazon, Zoho, kaar Technologies, SpiralUp Solutions, doodleblue, SysTech Solution, SAP Labs, Sanmina, ZoomRx, Slice Pay, Mphasis, PayPal, Virtusa, MBIT wireless, LYNK Logistics, L&T InfoTech visit the college. The drive is until nov 30. Zoho offers internship stipend ranging from 12k-15k. The last year, i.e., 2017 batch, about 655 students were placed in TCS. Due to trump storm in t...
Placements: The placement is the best part of REC. One full week of placement training with accommodation is provided for students before the companies drive and also specific training to crack interview on each company is given. The students with not more than 1 arrear and above 6 CGPA are hired mostly. The offered salary range from 8-9 lakhs to 2.5-3.5 lakhs minimum. Many major companies such as Amazon, Zoho Corporation, TCS, Wipro, Hitachi, Ashok Leyland, etc., have visited the campus for recruitment for...
Placements: The placements were excellent. A lot of companies participated in the placements, right from TCS, Infosys, L&T Infotech, L&T, IBM, Omega Health Care, Sutherland, Flipkart, Board Ex Pvt. Ltd. and many others. You will be surprised by the kind of placements they provide. All you got to do is study with all your heart, clear your seventh semester with around 8.00 CGPA and you will have a direct entry in TCS, since my college has a tie-up with TCS.
Placements: The placements are decent if you have a CGPA of about 7.5 or higher. Almost more than 60% of the students got placed either in an IT corp or at a Core Organisation. Special camps were conducted to create awareness among students about the placements and training were provided to tackle interviews. The placed department is more concerned with number of students placed in IT Corporate than the students being placed in their respective core fields.
My college is one among the top colleges in the Chennai circle when it comes to the automobile engineering department. My college has the best student to faculty ratio as per AICTE norms. I would recommend others to join this college. For academics, my college is good but when it comes to hostels, it is horrible. The food that they provide in the mess is really bad. For students who want to join this college don't take the hostel.
