I was motivated to join this college as it was one of the best colleges for automobile engineering in the region. The faculty was just average. The infrastructure was comparatively better than other colleges for the stream I studied. A few industrial tie ups were present in our college. The knowledge imparted by the college was good and we got some industrial exposure as well. Regarding placements, almost 80% of the college students were placed but mostly of the IT sector only. Core placements w...

The college is very good with great infrastructure. The faculty in automobile department is very friendly and very generous towards the students. They are very helpful and we gained a lot of knowledge from them. Overall, the college is good. However, it would be nice if they reduce the fee a little bit.

Nice college with a greenish surrounding. The negative aspect is the food provided in the canteen. Well trained staffs with all lab facilities. Good placement provided to all students and training placement are also provided to all students. The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled. Good transport facility provided to the students. Library facility for all students and hostel facility provided for all students coming from other places.

The college has excellent infrastructure for extra-curricular activities including 2 cricket grounds, 2 volleyball courts and a basketball court. It also has excellent library facilities featuring all the major publications of text books and reference books thereby providing ample opportunities for the student’s growth. The lab facilities are also good whereby they have even trainer flights for the course. The placements are negative because the bulk of the companies are only from the IT sector....

REC has a huge infrastructure and is located a few kilometers away from the city. The faculty here is well qualified and experienced. The crowd is very friendly and most of them are locals of the city. On the negative front, the college is located away from the city which sometimes is a hindrance for students to commute to the city. Also the food available in and around the campus is not very great.

The World Needs You. The Mechanical Engineering Department is cool with a lot of supportive staff. Facilities are decent. Food was not that great, don’t know how it is now. Hostel was nice according to some hostel friends. Academic wise, it’s the same as every other college in Anna University. Teachers do give some additional notes if you ask. Buses are nice. The 1 hour journey is something you look forward to once you get used to the travel time. You’ll find 4 years going in a flash. All th...

Friendly staff in the mechanical department who encourages innovative ideas. Good and decent labs that backup mechanical department in automobile, shop floor practices, aeronautical, robotics. Infrastructure could be better in aspects of creativity and knowledge sharing. Mostly of the department follows school type of education. Alumni club is small.

Very good college with good infrastructure, there are many industry level initiatives like Tifac core, baja car competition and many other tech fests to improve the growth of each and every student. Another good initiative is campus interview training program for 3rd year students, it really gives the exposure to the students to the students, even the students from rural areas can know the up to date industry and how to move further in their career. It’s a very good college. College hosts three fests and there’s a choice of clubs & activities for all round development. Attendance is strict. Academically, if you manage your time well, you can do well. Teachers are good but not great. Students are extremely friendly. There are many places to relax. Films are screened occasionally in the auditorium. Being a centrally funded institute, college fees is lower than all comparable institutes. Almost all big companies come for campus placements.

It’s a good College with good features and a nice environment for engineering studies. The best thing about the college is if you get through with a decent score you are sure to get placed in any of the top multinational companies. There is a good hostel facility inside the campus and the faculty members are well experienced.

Good for its infrastructure and the steps taken for imparting knowledge to students. Could have provided more reputed placements. Staffs are good and are ready to help always. Have all facilities from sports to studies. Students can become an entrepreneurs, salaried or unemployed but it's all in their hands on how they utilise the facilities.

The college gave me some nice memories in my life. Placement is very good and the faculty is very motivating. They do help the students. Fees will be little high for the vegetarian food. The special officers appointed by the college create a big image but no one likes them.

The most depressing thing about this college is their rules and regulations. Formals are too much of care taken by staff which could be plus point for few. Campus and crowd is excellent. Placements are average. It’s not a bad college, it’s a great one. One more disadvantage is that it is located way outside the city of Chennai, so travelling to college becomes hectic.

College is suitable for people who can do self-studies very well, and college atmosphere is different than what you expect. I recommend this college because the faculty will be helpful in the innovative ideas that we deliver to them, but the fact is that we have to get an average score in exams to withstand the stress.

Yes, it is a good choice join the REC college.

Placements: Nearly the students who heaven decided to do CSE course in REc would get placed in the campus interviews with good package and the college offers an average package of 6LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, cognizant etc. The students who are studying in REC have good chance of getting placed in campus interviews of they focus on their academics.

Review of Rajalakshmi Engineering College.

Placements: Almost 70% of the college students were placed. The college ensures that the companies that come are top-tier companies, and they offer very good placement opportunities. The highest offer is INR 50 lacs, and the companies that come up are Benz, TCS, Wipro, and Volvo.

I would definitely recommend this college to get best college experience.

Placements: This college is known for its placements. Almost the majority of the students get placed in good companies with a decent and satisfactory package. The average placement of our college is 4LPA. The internships are also quite good. Students are getting placed in software companies like Accenture, Wipro and TCS, etc. The placement cell of our college is active as they keep students updated with current job opportunities.

Our college is good when compared to other colleges in Chennai.

Placements: Placements were good in our college from all the good companies. The salary package ranges from around 3 LPA to 6 LPA. There were very few company companies offering salary packages of above 10 LPA. Mostly ECE, CSE, and IT courses got good placements compared to other departments. Amazon conducted women specific drive that offered an SDE role.
