If you guys want to take admission with a lower percentile, go for it.
Placements: Almost 70 percent of students are placed, but it depends on how you perform in the campus round. The college provides placement opportunities, but it's all about us, and it depends on us. In our electrical branch, companies like Hexawave and Radiant come every year for mass hiring, and almost all the students get placed in between 3 to 5 LPA or above.
Infrastructure: The college is a little bit old, but the infrastructure is still good for an engineering college. In the electrical department, there are high-voltage labs found in our college, which is very rare. But, if you want to do electrical engineering in our college, you won’t get all the facilities available in our department.
Faculty: Teachers and faculty members are very experienced and very friendly by nature. There are a number of teachers who have experience of more than 15 years. There are no complaints about our staff, and they also support us in every departmental and cultural activity.
Other: The campus is not too big, but it's fully surrounded by trees. As you know, Chandrapur is known for its hot temperature, so this type of campus is a blessing for us. Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls, and a ground is also available for playing several games.

My college was very good in terms of facilities & infrastructure.
Placements: The highest package in my course is 14-15 Lacs per year & the lowest package is 5-6 Lacs per year & the average package is 7-8 Lacs per year. 80-90 % of students were placed in our course. 70-80 % of students got internships from my course in PLM solution company. Thermal power station roles are offered in our course.
Infrastructure: Yes, in my college there are facilities and infrastructure available for my course/ department. The quality of the facilities in my hostel was good enough & the quality of food available in the mess and canteen is superb. The food taste is also good. Medical facilities are also good. There is also have basketball ground which we are eligible for pay sports and games.
Faculty: The teachers in my college were so helpful and they are very well qualified in M.Tech (electrical) & some teachers are qualified in PhD (electrical) also. The teaching quality was so good & easy to understand. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant. Yes, it makes the student industry-ready. The semester exam in my college is difficult but not impossible if you study well & maintain regularity you clear the exam very easily. My first exam is mid sem exam which is 20 marks & 20 marks are internal (ca1 &ca2) & my end sem exam is 60 marks which I have to score is minimum of 20 marks out of 60.

Review of Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering, Research and Technology.
Placements: There were not much campus placements as expected, and less percentage of students got placed on the campus. Nearly 40% of students from our course were placed. The highest salary package offered was around 6 lacs per 4 years, the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 3 to 4 LPA. Google, TCS, Cognizant, Infosys and Flextronics are the most popular recruiters. Almost 60 to 80% of the students got an internship, and students who studied in our course has most top-placed as a robotic engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was good and peaceful. Our college has Wi-Fi connectivity over the campus. They provide advanced labs, enriched classrooms, advanced and fully digitalised library. Hostel facilities are also available. Food quality is average, but it is manageable. Canteen and mess are average. Sport and games are also available here, and games like volleyball, cricket and football are major games which our college participated and won prizes.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful. Few of them are M.Tech, and some of them are PhD holders. Teaching quality is good, and they give importance to everyone individually.
Other: I have chosen this course because electrical engineering is a future for cars and bikes, and everything is going to be electrical in future, so considering electrical engineering is a wise choice, you will always have placements and opportunities. Labs should be more improved. They conduct events and fests every year. Games and extracurricular activities are also given more importance as education, so you can also participate in them without any conditions.

A good college with awesome placements and good surroundings and campus.
Placements: There are good placements in the college every year. Almost 300 students got placed last year, and I also got placed from the college. Almost 15-20 companies visit the campus every year and recruit students from college. Last year, Vedanta company offered 7.50 lacs per annum package to 10 students. The college conducts students meeting for placements so that they will be aware of how to face interviews.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is the best, and all the facilities are available. Labs, classrooms and library are well-equipped, and the classrooms are airy. Almost everything required for engineering is available in the labs. There are 2 canteens, and the food is good there. There are 2 hostels for boys and girls.
Faculty: The teaching staff are highly qualified. Almost all of them are PhD holders, and they try to use different technologies for the betterment of students. They take students for industrial training. Teachers and students have a good relationship over here as teachers are in a large number.
Other: Ganpati festival is celebrated every year, and many fests are organised for students, especially music fest. The campus just awesome, and scholarships are available for poor, SC/ST candidates and girls.
