Review of Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering.
Placements: RCERT has around 6 departments, namely, electrical, electronics, mechanical, IT, C-Tech and mining. During the placements of my batch, a few students from the mining department got placed with the highest salary package of 7 LPA. However, placements were not very good for other departments. The salary packages offered were not very good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of RCERT was average. The college has a decent central library, playground, basketball court, 2 canteens, labs, bank etc. The canteen served few but tasty food items in the snacks time. There were separate hostels for both boys and girls on the campus. Boys' hostel does have a large playground, but the rooms were average.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. However, teaching quality varied from faculty to faculty. There were some good faculty members in this college. Most of the faculty members were supportive and provided good guidance whenever the students needed. The college provided industry exposure as well.
Other: RCERT organised events on a regular basis giving exposure to the students about various cultural, social and literary activities. Apart from that, Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated with great enthusiasm among students. The college is very well decorated during this occasion.

Co-operative college with excellent faculty.
Placements: Rajiv Gandhi College has good placement opportunities. The training and placement department faculty takes many efforts so that each and everyone should get placed. Also, the students over here get placed in various top MNCs by clearing all the rounds of an interview.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. The library contains all sorts of books required while studying your engineering course. The canteen food is delicious. Many sports that are played in the college. The sports faculty take efforts for the same so that each and every student should get equal opportunity to show their skills.
Faculty: The teaching faculty are very co-operative. They complete the course in the given span. Also, they take surprise revision and also teach us the practical knowledge of that respective subject so that we pass with the flying colours. The faculty also solve our confusions pertaining to their subject.

Good college for mining students and average placement in electronics .
Placements: The average package of this college is 3 LPA. Mining students get a higher package, up to 16 LPA, in companies like Vedanta, etc. Also, the TNP (Training and Placement) manager brings some worker-type jobs for those who are not placed. It's also not a job; it is an apprenticeship for 1 year with a bond of at least 1 year. Mining placements are good.
Infrastructure: Labs are conducted in all branches, especially in CSE and ECE branches. Gadgets are updated for the year 2024, and all lab coordinators are good. Hostel food is not good in the girls' hostel. The library is good for students; there are a lot of books they can borrow from there. The boys' hostel is average.
Faculty: Teachers teach students in a good way. Teachers do not take too many leaves. Exams are conducted very strictly and are good for students. No cheating is allowed in this college. The principal specially takes charge of exams and ensures that no student can cheat.
Other: Electronics is a good career nowadays. There are not many placements in the CSE department, but the teaching staff is good, and the studies are also satisfactory. All the festivals are celebrated in this college, organized by students only. Sports Day and Cultural Day are also celebrated in this college.

Review of Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering, Research and Technology.
Placements: The highest package offered is Rs. 12,000 per month and the lowest is Rs. 5000 per month. Tata is the top recruiting company at our college. About 40% of students got internships from our course. Top roles are offered by the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities are below average. The Wi-Fi is available, but we don't have a network. Labs are fine as long as we get to do practicals. Labs are dusty. Classrooms are good. The library is average. I am a day scholar. Sports are not encouraged.
Faculty: Some teachers are talented. They are good at making conversation with us. Some teachers just come and go. The difficulty of semester exams is based on whether we studied the semester or not. The pass percentage is 25.
Other: I chose this course because I had no choice. Engineering is quite a handful of knowledge. Everything is fine here, but they can do better.

Really good infrastructure and placements.
Placements: Training and placement cell of RCERT has had another fruitful year of placement in year 2015-16 which saw various companies approached us in their hunt for fresh talent. Placement cell of RCERT aims at making available quality placement opportunity for students. Several regular as well as new companies visited the college for placements for our academic session.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good. Free Wi-Fi was there, but only for IT department. Library was good, there were many technical books and space was spacious. Library staff was very supportive. Canteen's food was quite good. Medical facilities are quite good, ambulance was also there.
Faculty: Teachers of our department were very helpful and supportive, of course knowledgeable. And were technically sound. We gained so much practical knowledge from all of them and this made students industry ready. Obviously, the course curriculum is relevant.
Other: Campus is very good. There were so many festivals celebrated like ganesh festival, vasant panchami, holi. So many technical events also. Scholarships, freeships were also there. They provide various activities for us like paper presentation etc.
