B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2017

Overall, students of 2017 batch had a good experience, decent placements and good infrastructure.
Placements: Placements were fine in our college. I got placed in a company which visited our campus to offer placements. Our college claims that it provides 100% placements at the time of joining, but it provides placements to approximately 85% of the students. The highest salary package offered here was 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. Most of us got an average salary package of 3 LPA. Reputed companies like L&T, TCS, Infosys, FedEx, etc., visit our college. From 2017 batch, most of the students got placed. Students from the electronics and telecommunication branch got placed in the core engineering field as well as in BPOs. Software companies like Infosys and TCS also hired students from here.
Infrastructure: There were a good computer lab, sports facilities and a library for us. Hostels were very clean and well maintained, but there were no air-conditioners in classrooms during our tenure. The internet facility was provided by our college, and its speed was fast. Hostel rooms had air-conditioners and other facilities like cool water and cleaning. I heard that the food served in the hostel was not good. Our college building looks good from the outside, and the playground was also good.
Faculty: Some teachers here were rude, but most of them were helpful. They were well qualified, but their teaching style was not up to the mark. The course curriculum was excellent, so because of that only, we got placed and are currently working. We are provided with industrial training, and the lab sessions conducted here are good so that we can become more industry-ready. Lab faculty members are really helpful, and they will also help you with the project.
Other: Our campus was good, and it was near to my house, so I have chosen it. Our college has a reputation in Nagpur, and students from Nagpur and nearby areas study here. The gym was really awesome, and the best part of our college is that there is a language lab which helps students to improve their communication skills. I think that our college should change the syllabus. Studies get boring after a while, and the same teachers teach us in every semester. So, our college should hire more teachers.

Overall, it is an average college.
Placements: Placements in our college are average. Around 30-35% of the students from our course got placed. Almost 20-25 companies like Amazon, Capgemini, motif, etc., visit our college for all the branches placements. The highest salary package offered was 7 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.9 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. There is a shop on the campus, where students take a print out of their lab records. Library and classrooms are good. We had to face certain issues here. The college does not provide enough space in the ground to play sports like cricket.
Faculty: Only a few teachers in our college are highly qualified in their field of interest. Some professors are very helpful and friendly to talk with them.

Think twice before you go.
Placements: Almost 60 per cent students were placed. Average package was 3-4 LPA All the recruiting companies were IT and BPO like amazon, TCS, Wipro, HCL. There are no internship facilities for students from the college end. Very few opportunities provided for top rolls in etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average and we use to have a different department on different floors. Wi-Fi, classroom, labs are good. Not sure about the hostel but canteen is good with Average food quality. We had different grounds to play different sports and games.
Faculty: The teachers were not so helpful they use to just focus on how to complete the course and nothing to learn worth and interesting. The course is not at all relevant and the students are not at all industry-ready I think there main objective is to complete the course only.
Other: The only thing that I like about this college is that they use to conduct good events with lots of help of students let it be cultural events, fairwell, freshers or technical events.

It is the best college under Nagpur University.
Placements: It is a good college under Nagpur University, and the teaching staff was also good. Placements were average, but we tried well so we can get the best company through college. Mentor system was also provided to make students bright, and students are likely to concentrate on their skills under mentors.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility was also provided. Labs were fully equipped. Classrooms were also good with projectors. The library is full of all the required books which are needed for students. Many books other than course books were also available. Canteen facilities were at its best at a reasonable rate.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college were very good and helpful. They were very punctual and very focused on their teaching with valuable notes and interactive class sessions. The course curriculum was relevant as it gave practical knowledge related to the field, and students become industry-ready.
Other: Events held were very cheerful and big amongst it. Sports session was also held, and technical events were good.

Raising Future Stars For Modifying India.
Placements: 75%students were placed in our course. The highest Package is upto 10lakh and the lowest is 2.7lakh and average salary offered is 3.3-3.6lakh. Top companies are TCS, COGNIZANT, etc. Programmer analyst and engineer trainnee are the offers offered in our course. About 50-60% students GOT internship from your course in Bsnl and In It Companies.
Infrastructure: Education is the most important parameter for the growth in the development of country as well as in students life. In The modern era we GOT many facilities and infrastructure. Proper Computer Labs, Jio Wi-Fi, Online Study material and many more. Not best but good facilities provided in hostel mess and in sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified as our communication was in English. According to me this course is not that much curriculum relevant. What we study or taught by our teachers are not that much important in corporate sector. We are studying Electronics and Working in IT sector. Proper Education should be there in course so students get benifit. The bookish Knowledge what we learn is not that much essential to work in IT sector. The role of teacher are always important. Yes They are qualified, helpful and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is also good but as the technology is increasing there should also be different modes for teaching. Like videos, PPT and different induction programs so that we can easily learn and understand many different subjects. There should be proper course which will help us to grow or stand in IT sector. As new courses are growing at a rapid speed like artificial intelligence and machine learning there should be workshops as well as induction programs about this so we should be aware of this courses and Maximum no. Of students should join those course. Students should be aware about NASA as well as ISRO. They should be a part in the development of country. Students should be aware about formal as well as informal knowledge as both are very important for the growth of student as well as the development of country.
Other: Engineers play a very important role in the infrastructure as well as in the development of country. Though our brain Engineers are making a new look to world like roads, bridges, infrastructure, as well as in technology. I also want to be a part of this development That's why I chose this course. The best things are we have a knowledge of computers mobiles Telecommunication which plays a very vital role. Bookish education should be improve.
