Offered by Ram Lal Anand College, University of Delhi

Review of Ram Lal Anand College, University of Delhi
Placements: As I'm doing my bachelor's in geology, I can't get placed until I do my master's because B.Sc. provides a basic foundation of the subject. In our batch, there are a total of 34 students. It's a small number, but there are many perks to it. Other departments provide good placements.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure. It has sufficiently equipped labs. In the geology department, there are many microscopes. The department has a good collection of minerals and rocks. Our classrooms have smart boards and Wi-Fi. The library of our college is well maintained and has a good collection of books. It is also equipped with laptops to do your work.
Faculty: Our faculty members are good and very helpful. As some of them are newly appointed, they lack the experience to explain. Our department also takes us on field trips as there is no geology unless you go to the field. In the semester exams, you need to write descriptive answers.
Other: Our college has various societies, and anyone who is interested can join through an audition. The college also hosts an annual festival.

Satisfied by their facilities and infrastructure but the placement is too low in our college.
Placements: Placement is Average in geology department but computer Science and Statistics department get the best placement, many of ours senior opted for Higher studies and prepare for IIT JAM for best post graduation college. But you can opted for off campus placement as geology is in demand l.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is good, our college is well organised, it has all facilities like lab, practical room etc., the nearest metro station to our college is durgabai Deshmukh south campus metro station and the nearest locality area is satya Niketan and the nearest bus stand is basant gaon.
Faculty: Our college teachers are well qualified they have greater knowledge in their respective fields and even they are friendly in nature, they help the students a lot in their studies. Our faculty teacher help us even out the campus, there is also a field trip in our department.
Other: I have opted geology as I like earth sciences but if you have no interest in this subject then please do not take geology as it is vast subject, but many of us taken it for their uosv preparation. Our campus have various societies like drama, singing, ncc, nss etc.

Placement problems are there in college.
Placements: There is not much placement in our course at B.Sc. level and on average, 30 percent of the total strength gets an internship. Being a student of geology, one should be a field geologist, hydrologist, mineralogist and so on. There are many, like ONGC, ISRO, Oil India and GSI, that offer internships as well as placements at M.Sc. level.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is the best amphitheater for big events; Wi-Fi is also available in the college; the library (for more than 10 hours); the classrooms are full of smart screens for better visuals; and the labs are full of all instruments and appliances that are needed.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and helpful; they help whenever you need them. The curriculum of this course is wide and new for new students, and the terms used in this course are new and tricky. The difficulty of a semester exam is average; anyone can qualify with a with a little hard work.
Other: The best thing about this course is the connection with your surrounding nature and if anyone wants to explore the earth in more detail, you must tell them to come to this course. The college is organizing a fest, and there were any events going on.

A nice college to enjoy every aspect of college life.
Placements: Talking about placements for Bachelor's in geology there was no placement at all. Most of us went for higher studies. The college has a placement cell but that's not much active. There are placements in stats and computer sciences as these subjects are in demand. Better go for off-campus placements.
Infrastructure: It has the nicest library on the south campus that is fully air-conditioned. Wi-Fi facilities are available on the whole of the campus with a good speed as well. Classrooms are well maintained and have projectors in each as well but the only problem is the lack of space. Classrooms are not much spacious. The canteen is also good with decent food at nominal rates. They have a lush green lawn as well.
Faculty: The faculty was also fine and they takes every class. They had in-depth knowledge of the subject and they strictly follow the given curriculum. They follow a day-to-day timetable as well. Talking about the exam if you were sincere in the class you'll end up having good marks as well. Talking about our batch none of the students got failed.
Other: They have very active student societies and student politics as well. You can join any society you want there is a lot of fun in these societies as well. Every year we used to have a college fest as well where they used to call some pop stars and lots of enjoyment were there.

Review of Ram Lal Anand College, University of Delhi.
Placements: The course didn't offer any placement, hence no students were placed at the college, though the college offered teaching on interviews and CV making. The internships were offered at the college but not on permanent placement offers. Students may learn through internships.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure was really appreciable but there were no hostels provided. The students have to look for private accommodations. Other than that, the lab classrooms were well done. The canteen food was not appreciable at all.
Faculty: The faculty was well educated and experienced and was good at their work. The curriculum was relevant and thus prepared students to serve the industries. The exams are moderate and beneficial to look at your progress. Overall, a good experience with teaching quality.
Other: This course was new and fascinating. The campus crowd was good, but not so much to lose ourselves in the crowd. Though it was a bit far from the nearest metro,. But the surroundings were clean and tidy. The circular activities throughout the college were very useful.
