College life at SVNIT Surat.
Placements: The eligibility criteria for placement are mostly a 6 CGPA. The students get many opportunities for placement as well as for internships. Students can do industrial internships as well as research internships at any college like NITs or IITs. For placement, companies visit the college after the 6th semester.
Infrastructure: The college has labs with advanced equipment, and the library has various books regarding all the subjects. There are nearly 9 hostels in the college: 7 for boys, 1 for girls, and 1 for PhD students living with their families. The hostel rooms have cupboards, B.Ed chairs, tables, and balconies. LAN and Wi-Fi are also provided. The mess food is also good compared to other colleges. Most students prefer the hostel in our college compared to PGs or rented rooms.
Faculty: As I am more interested in machine mechanisms, technology, and physics, I chose this course. All the faculty members are from reputed institutes like IITs and NITs. They all have Ph.D.s in their own fields and have great experience. There are mainly two exams: mid-term examination and end-term examination. The difficulty of the paper depends on the subject and faculty members.

Life and my experience at SVNIT, Surat.
Placements: The Placement cell here is well-renowned, and major companies visit the campus, such as GlobalTech, Hitachi, HPCL, GE Vernova, Larsen and Toubro, etc. The average package here is around 13 LPA - 14 LPA, and the highest in the 2024 placement round was 52 LPA, which was from the CSE Branch. The AI Branch is a new branch, so no batch has been placed yet. Apart from placements, many students enroll themselves in internships, and some go for further studies or research.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure here is up to the mark. Academic buildings, labs, and classrooms are well-equipped with all the facilities, but ACs are missing from classes. Many branches, like CSE, ECE, Chemical Engineering, and Mathematics department buildings, are newly made. The roads, offices, and grounds are well-maintained and kept clean. Hostels are on-campus at SVNIT, but they are old now, and the buildings are getting renovated one by one. If we talk about the messy food at hostels, it is pretty good, and the quality and taste of the food are great. There is a central canteen and a medical health center.
Faculty: The faculty in B.Tech and other fields are amazing. They are really experienced, talented, and know how to teach students. The faculty at SVNIT is very helpful, and students can easily ask for assistance from teachers without any hesitation. The faculty also helps students in research, startups, and projects. The course curriculum of B.Tech AI is very relevant, and students do not have to learn extra subjects outside their fields, due to the new education policy. There are 2 exams in one semester: mid-sems and end-sems, both of which have difficult papers, which trouble students a lot.
Other: The campus is lush green with plenty of trees. The institute has amazing campus life with a number of fests happening, such as Sparsh, Kashish, CHRD, and many more. Also, the people of SVNIT are well-mannered and actively participate in various activities. There are sports facilities at SVNIT, and many sports-related tournaments are organized. The college also has lots of clubs, including technical, non-technical, cultural, sports, NCC, etc.

Reality of our CSE department for those student whoes avarege in studies.
Placements: In recent year the placement Statistics for student have showcase an impressive track record, with around 80% to 95% of students successfully securing job placements each year. This remarkable figure reflects the robust training and preparation provided by edu.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good in my campus the facilities and infrastructure on our campus are excellent, providing students with a conducive environment for learning and growth morden classrooms, well-equipped labs, libraries, and recreational areas enhance the overall educational.

Absolutely satisfied with faculty, hostel life and placement statistics. It is a very good college.
Placements: Based on last year's placement statistics, about 50% of the graduates secured placements. The highest package offered was 32 LPA, while the minimum package was around 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Amazon, Bajaj, Accenture, Adobe, and Tata. Additionally, around 20% of the students secured internships.
Infrastructure: The college and hostel infrastructure are excellent. The library spans three floors, each equipped with AC ventilation. The middle floor is dedicated to borrowing books. Hostel rooms are spacious and accommodate two students per room. The mess is average, as the food tends to be mostly sweet.
Faculty: All the teachers are highly qualified, with many holding doctorate degrees. The teaching quality is excellent, and the curriculum is relevant, ensuring no time is wasted and making students industry-ready. Semester examinations are manageable with consistent preparation, especially starting at least a week prior.

Very beautiful infrastructure and faculty but not facilities.
Placements: 78 percent of students are placed. The highest is 36.42 LPA, the lowest is 5 LPA, and the average is 10.10 LPA for electrical engineering students. Many students go to IIT for their internship course. This year, placements at NIT have decreased because this year’s batch is weaker compared to other batches.
Infrastructure: Inside the campus, we have a central library, gym, cricket ground, canteen, general store, health center, cycles, Wi-Fi, and LAN in the hostel, etc. Every department has its own particular building and lab. Hostel food is good, but canteen food is not good; the quality of food is moderate.
Faculty: In SVNIT, the college life of students is the same as school life. All teachers are very strict in particular subjects but always help with any doubts and other problems in our life. Every day, all subjects have 50-minute classes. The lab schedule is very strict, which helps students with practical thinking.
Other: I like solving circuit problems, so I chose the electrical engineering course. In SVNIT, the electrical engineering course is in demand, so placements are very high.

All about Sardar Vallabhbhai National institute of technology .
Placements: Percentage of students selected is based on JEE Main counseling. The highest salary package offered was 38 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 9-10 LPA. And the lowest salary package offered was 5 LPA -6 LPA. Top recruiting companies include L&T, Hyundai, and other vehicle-based companies. About 40%-50% of students easily get internships.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good, and labs are excellent. Wi-Fi is provided everywhere in the hostel, but it is not available in the classrooms. However, phone signals can be reached. Infrastructure of the department is great. Library is excellent in every aspect and contains almost every type of book.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and well-qualified, with most of did their Ph.D. and specializing in their subjects. A few are among the top 2% of researchers in the world. Teaching quality is good, but it can be a bit boring at times. Course curriculum is relevant, but teaching alone does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are not too hard.
Other: Mechanical engineering is my course, and I chose it because of my interest in Mechanical Engineering. SVNIT has the best mechanical engineering professors. Everything is good, but practical knowledge should be increased. Fests and events are also good. Sports are great, especially in cricket, basketball, and others, due to the interest in NIT competitions.
