 Final selection to PhD is based on the overall merit at master’s degree and performance in entrance exam conducted by University of Mumbai, followed by performance in PI. However, who have qualified GATE/NET/SET/ CSIR (JRF) are exempted from taking the entrance examination.

Sasmira's Institute of Management Studies and Research offers PhD in management. The admission to PHD by clearing the PhD level examination conducted by the affliated university.
