Saveetha School of Engineering - A place to reach your goals.
Placements: Almost 98% of students get placed in the best companies like TCS, Accenture, Wipro, Cognizant, UTS Global, Hexaware, Phoenix Medical, etc. The salary package offered is around 3 LPA - 14 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. Top roles offered are business executive analyst and software developer.
Infrastructure: The college has many buildings with good architecture. Classrooms have many facilities including air conditioners, Wi-Fi, and a television in every class. The campus has many computer labs, electronic labs, and laboratories related to every department. The food in the hostel for every student is available in the canteen. There are many canteens, so students can eat in the canteen of their interest. The library is one of the most pleasant places on the campus. It offers resources and a pleasant environment for the students to learn.
Faculty: The syllabus is understandable for all. The way of teaching is very cleve> Faculty members are highly experienced and students are well-trained by them for semester exams.
Other: I chose bioinformatics because of my interest in the drug discovery process and research. I have many best things in research like good teaching staff who are experienced and many of them even hold entrepreneurship.

A honest review - you can trust.
Placements: About 70% of students got placed in companies. The highest salary package offered is 42 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4.2 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, CTS, Accenture, and Hexaware. These companies do bulk hiring. Top roles offered are software engineer and data analyst. These roles are offered frequently.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available throughout the day. The infrastructure of our college is very great. It has a hygienic environment. Labs are very good. Classrooms are clean. The quality of the food is good. All types of food items are available. There is no mess in hostels. Only canteens are available. Our college supports students in sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers are great in college but education system is quite dynamic and Teachers are great at our college. The education system is quite dynamic and sudden calls are very difficult for students. Courses and faculty members will be chosen by students to complete placement training. The placement training will be given for students before 9 months only. Semester exams are moderate to pass.

It's not satisfactory because of the poor response of management.
Placements: 80 percent of students were placed. Hexaware, TCS, Kaar and Accenture are top recruiters. 59 percent of students got internships and the minimum number of students got rejected due to poor skills. However, it is good to have these placements; we can have our experience.
Infrastructure: Wifi and college infrastructure is good but hostels are how ever hostels are not quite good in infrastructure and the facilities are not so satisfactory. I can give a 5 out of 10 rating. Cleaning is not good and AC will not work correctly either.
Faculty: The faculty depends on your behavior; if you are good, they are also good; if not, they are also bad but there is partiality among themselves and we should be careful and just study all by ourselves. An outing is not possible. That is the most annoying thing here.
Other: It is not worth it, go to another college.

Nice infrastructure and average placement in the past years.
Placements: Last year, our college achieved a placement rate of 92% to 96%. The highest package offered was 14 LPA, with an average package of around 5 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Wipro, HCL, and Accenture. Roles such as web developer and automation tester were among the most offered.
Infrastructure: The college provides internet facilities and maintains clean and well-equipped classrooms. Labs are well-designed with all necessary tools and equipment. The library is a highlight, offering a peaceful learning and skill development environment. The college encourages participation in extracurricular activities like sports and symposiums to support overall development.
Faculty: The college follows a three-month semester system. Students can choose their courses and faculty, offering a flexible and student-centric approach. Practical-based learning is emphasized, ensuring a good balance between theory and application.

A college surrounded by nature.
Placements: The highest package offered was up to INR 14 LPA while the lowest was INR 2 LPA. About 40% of students from the course secured placements. Top roles offered include team leader positions in gaming companies, with participation from leading recruiters.
Infrastructure: The course comprises 41 subjects, including 30 core subjects, 8 electives, and 3 projects. The campus offers facilities like a well-stocked library, modern labs with Wi-Fi, and a canteen serving good-quality food. The hostel is considered one of the best facilities on campus.
Faculty: The faculty includes highly qualified professors with Ph.D. and Master's degrees. They are knowledgeable, supportive, and dedicated to helping students build their careers. However, the semester exams are moderately challenging, with a pass rate of around 40%.
Other: I choose this course because of future opportunities offered by this course.

This college has atmosphere like schools.
Placements: I'm a 2nd-year student, and almost all students are placed from courses such as CS, IT, and AIDS. Bio-related courses such as bioinformatics and biotechnology placement opportunities are fewer. The placement packages are also low in all courses.
Infrastructure: There are blocks in the university. Few blocks are well maintained, but most of them are not up to standard. Wi-Fi access is only available for CS and IT students. The library consists of a good study area, which is peaceful. There are various canteens inside the campus, so the quality varies for each canteen.
Faculty: A few faculty members are very knowledgeable and helpful, but not all. Not all facilities are easy to access. Many events and programs are organized to develop student's skills. The course curriculum is not that helpful. The exam system is different, but it's easy. Pass percentage is 50%.
Other: I chose SIMATS to pursue this course because bioinformatics in the engineering sector adds value to the certificate. More lab facilities would be helpful at the college. There are no complaints regarding events, fests, or other activities.
