B.Tech In Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning - Batch of 2025
Offered by Saveetha School of Engineering, Saveetha University
1.8

According to me, you can join other colleges where you can see hopes of your successful future.
Placements: For each batch, there are around 2,000 students, and the companies that come to recruit are mostly small to medium-sized. Placement training is very poor at the college, and self-learning is the only option. Even a few startups came just for formality and didn’t select a single student. The salary ranges provided are exaggerated.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the only positive aspect of this college. Students have to move between different blocks for classes, and the hostels are just okay, but the timings are inconvenient, and you can’t bring food parcels into the hostel. There are many canteens, but the prices are high—like a small plate of biryani costs 100 to 120 and isn’t worth the taste. The college is overcrowded, making it hard to move around freely. As for sports, don’t expect any support. The Wi-Fi is unreliable and cuts off unexpectedly.
Faculty: There is no proper structure when it comes to classes—no schedules, no proper timings. Some subjects are finished in a week, which is ridiculous. The faculty may have knowledge, but the college pushes them so much that they can't properly help students. Students are left to figure out things on their own, and the teaching method deserves a zero. Instead of support, students are burdened with unnecessary tasks.
Other: Infrastructure is the only plus for this college. Moving between blocks for classes is a hassle, and the hostels have poor timings. The college is overcrowded, and the canteens are overpriced with mediocre food. The sports facilities are not supported, and Wi-Fi is unreliable.

Basically, Saveetha School of Engineering is pretty good overall; the placement is really good.
Placements: About 90% of students have been placed in AI and ML courses.
The highest packages are up to 34 LPA, the lowest are up to 3 LPA, and the average is about 5 LPA.
Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Wipro, TCS, etc.
Mostly freshers offered like ML engineers, full-stack web developers, front-end developers, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available in Saveetha school of engineering are pretty good; the quality of the hostels is decent and the food is great, which is a very good thing for students and there will be a lot of clubs, games, etc. The ground is pretty good so many games takes place like football, cricket, hockey, kabaddi, etc.
Faculty: The faculty is very helpful and pretty knowledgeable. The quality of the teaching is good, and the way they try to teach students is decent. Courses will be finished within 3 years, and the last 4th year will be totally into placement for every student above 50 with a past percentage, and the exam level is moderate. You can pass the exam easily, not that you have to study.
Other: Every month, there will be some programs that students will participate in, such as workshops. And there will be lot of connectivity to students with people from the outer world, and there will be a big fest called Simam, which is done by this college in the best way.

The better college in future - Saveetha School of Engineering.
Placements: The percentage placement is very good. But the offers are not at a greater level. The placement cell is working hard, and companies frequently come, but the difference is in the package they offer, and sometimes they fail to conduct rounds and just leave in the middle.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is top-notch. All the labs are well-equipped. There is a robotics lab and an AR/VR lab. The classrooms are air-conditioned and equipped with projectors. All the bathrooms are clean and neat, and the canteens offer decent food. The ambiance of the campus is great.
Faculty: The curriculum is great, providing a strong theoretical foundation with real-life applications. The number of faculty members is good, but the content they are assigned to teach is not so good. The quality of exams is also not on par; if we write something and fill the page, it is considered acceptable.
Other: The thing that made me choose the course is that it is evolving, and many more opportunities will arise. There is nothing to suggest for improvement, as it is constantly evolving. The college hosts annual cultural events, and other departments conduct symposiums regularly.

It is an average institute with better faculty members.
Placements: Placements are average in this college. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Accenture, Wipro, and Infosys. The average salary package offered ranges from 4 LPA to 5 LPA. The highest salary package offered varies between 10 LPA to 12 LPA. All courses are available, if students want, then they can join this college.
Infrastructure: The hostel is not good because the fee structure is high. It is better to stay outside the campus and take rooms. The food served in the canteen is good as compared to other colleges. Sports are also available for students.
Faculty: Faculty members are average, and the course system is different from other colleges. The exams are decided by the management twice a year. It conducts daily tests, and the exam fee is also there. The course is for 4 months, and it is different from other colleges.

Satisfied because of decent curriculum and studies.
Placements: In the SSE campus drive, the average percentage of students who passed was 75% to 80%. Yes, you read it correctly; this was the percentage of students who passed. The main reason for this downfall in placement is students with zero technical knowledge, but the college puts in effort to increase this count.
Infrastructure: The hostel infrastructure is good. In this college, there is no common canteen for hostel students; instead, there are many canteens inside the college. Students can buy their own meals. So, we don't worry about the quality of food.
Faculty: It has good faculty members, and SSE follows a different curriculum and exam schedule. It is totally different from Anna University, called module-based studies where the students read modules one by one, which contains four subjects and goes on for three months. But this is good and makes it easier to get more marks.
