Absolutely dissatisfied because of facilities provided and zero placements.

Placements: The university doesn't have a placement cell as it doesn't provide any placements. I have no idea about the placement section, and students face many problems with it. Due to the absence of the placement system, the students are struggling to get opportunities. The university should have a placement department.

Probable full stop for your career, people outside don't value a SOl student.

Placements: No placement for SOL students moreover they cannot apply in most of the universities abroad and marking is low as compared to regular colleges. They are often not valued even if they have certain capability. Except for the people who are pursuing a strong professional course by side.

The college is the hub of correspondence courses.

Placements: The college doesn't provide any placement facilities because this is a college for correspondence studies and courses, so it does not conduct any placement facilities for students. Actually, it only provides you with a degree only. So forget about the placements. If you are pursuing another professional course along with this, then it will be a safeguard for you only.

It is a good institution for distance education.

Placements: School of Open Learning provides distance education. Therefore, they don't provide any placement opportunities. I would have liked it if they offered placements. As there are many students, it is not possible for the college management to provide placement opportunities.

I am dissatisfied of studying from SOL. I could have taken a regular college.

Placements: I haven't heard placements yet. I am a 3rd-year student, and I am not informed about the placements and stuff. Maybe they don't provide such things, or maybe I am not aware of these things. Many of my friends who are doing UG courses from School of Open Learning, and they are also not aware of placements.

School of open learning: just for the degree.

Placements: As it is an open learning institution there is no placement at all though the process of getting migration certificate and getting degree is easier compared to other Delhi university's colleges. They even parsel your degrees at home. Good for people who are working.

Go to other regular college and get the exposure required.

Placements: There are no placements in this college. Don't go to this college unless you have to go for a CA, CS or doing a job or going into business. Students hardly attend classes. This only gives you a degree and not the exposure required. Even if you are going for CA or CS, you can go regularly to those classes

Attend regular college and don't go for this.

Placements: There are no placements in this college. Get admission only when you are going for a professional degree or doing job or going into business. There are no placements in this college and will not provide you with the exposure that is required. The exams are tough and marking is strict. So work hard for exams.

Correspondence college that gets the job done.

Placements: The college does offer campus interviews but the companies are mostly BPOs and the salary offered is also quiet low. I don't think more than a handful of students attend such placement rounds. It is not worth the effort instead you could easily score a more paying job via off campus or walk in interviews.

It is wast of money. Exam held between May-June, but you cannot get books until March.

Placements: SOL college has no placements. You have to search for a job on your own because not even a single company come to pick you up. I say one thing that, if taking admission, then forget about placements. You don't get any kind of help from them, and everything depends on the student. There are no internship facilities in this college.

Very poor college, no placements.

Placements: There are no placements for students of our college as companies don't give any value to SOL students. They don't even wanna to find talents in SOL. It's difficult to score in SOL examinations because of less time and poor facilities. Here, no marks mean poor performance.

Review of School of Open Learning.

Placements: It is not easy to get good placement if you are graduating from this college. The main factor is, the faculty don't give good marks even if you study more than a regular college student. I suggest you join any regular college even if you want to pursue CA.

This college is for those students who did not secure more than 80%.

Placements: There aren't any placements for this college's students. This college is helpful when someone is interested in the other courses like the chartered accountant, etc., and also wants the graduation. And, the exams are very hard. So, work hard for the exams. They charge lower fees for graduation. The admission fee is Rs. 4,000 for B.Com students.

The School of Open Learning, an average graduate's long-distance college.

Placements: There are no placement offers and staff for students. They only provide studies for long distance, and then you get the marks sheet online after passing graduation. You have to go there with the online mark sheet and provisional and get the stamped original mark sheet.

Not a good college. There are no placements, no good teachers.

Placements: They don’t give placements because it’s an open college. We have to give the exam, and we have to study on our own. The college provides no classes. One more important thing is that the centres they provide for the exams are the worst. The way teachers talk is very bad. Sometimes, they ask money from the student.

The good thing is without the cut-off-list, the college provides the admission to the students.

Placements: SOL doesn't provide any placements and job opportunities because it is not a regular-college. The placement companies don't visit the college. If the students want the facility of job opportunities and placement programs, then they should take the admission in regular-college of D.U.

It is preferable for those who want to do a job along with studies.

Placements: No placements were provided in the college. There is a placement cell, but most of the students do not get a placement opportunity. Those who perform extraordinarily, only those are provided placements, but it also happens rarely. Even most of the students who want to pursue the job, along with studies opt for this college or those who do not want to waste their time.

Worst service of the college and campus.

Placements: The students were very good and helpful. But the marks given is low after writing five pages for 1 question and answer. The teachers are bad during the exam. They don't provide the question paper on time, and they do not give time to the read the question paper to understand the paper. They provide the answer sheets after 10 minutes.

Absolutely bad college and Infrastructure.

Placements: No placements for my batch has taken place yet. The placements for senior batch were fine. Around 10 to 20% of the students got placed. I haven’t heard of the companies that visited our college. I have no idea about the highest, lowest and average salary offered by the companies. I do not know the percentage of students got the internship from college.

It is the real experience by a student of School of Open Learning.

Placements: There is no facility for placement is provided by the School of Open Learning. Not even for an internship had been provided for any year of a student by the School of Open Learning. They take exams and provide you with a degree. School of Open Learning should provide at least some sort of placements and internships to students for their practical knowledge.
