Placements: DU SOL placement cell provides the latest information to students regarding placement opportunities and the current industry trends. Students are informed about SOL DU placement drives through SMS or the same can be checked on the DUL SOL placement website.
Placements: You don't get any placement from the School of Open Learning. SOL is for those students who want to do other professional courses or to gain extra knowledge. You don't get placement opportunities in any companies.
Placements: There are many students for distant learning in my course from different cities like Bihar, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, etc. The salary package is quite average compared to private and regular universities. It is around 5 LPA - 6 LPA. Many companies like Dettol, Pantene, and MNCs like Webhelp and NGOs also came for placements before covid. Around 30% of students got placements in various companies mentioned above. The rest were already doing some work besides college and the remaining came only ...
Placements: Here you can get a degree only, no placements are there. This school of open learning means distance learning here, you can just select a course and study on your own. No need to attend classes if you don't want. They will not force you it's your own choice.
Placements: We didn't have any placement opportunities 3 months ago. Delhi University is the biggest university in New Delhi, and you can complete your graduation in a non-regular college or regular college. It has a very effective atmosphere for group study. There are supportive teachers and students. You must take admission to this college.
Placements: There are a good number of students who got placed in our course. Political science is a great subject. For me, it was really interesting. Over the past few years, political science has been ranked among the most popular undergraduate (UG) courses. There are some jobs for this course, like civil service, policy analyst, law, etc.
Placements: Placements are available but not much like it does not confirm whether you got a job or not with the college placement because there is no such facility at our college. About 10-15% of students got placement I guess. The top recruiting company is HDFC Bank. The job role offered to us is relationship manager.
Placements: No placements are given by the SOL-DU. All they can provide is a degree. Although they provide placement, they are not on par with graduate-level. They provide jobs like customer executives in private banks or some low-level clerical jobs in any organisation that pays you a minimum wage.
Placements: There is no placement record as far as I know. But I hope you can join this college if you don't want to be dependent on placements. You can come here only to grab a degree and to ditch that dopamine of college life fun, by the time you graduate, if you work consistently for these 3 years, you will be way ahead.
Placements: There is a 20% to 50% chance of getting an internship. There are good salary packages offered by companies, such as Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 80,000 per month. The top roles available are financial consultants, CAs, and so on. B.Com always gives too many job options.
Placements: The placement is just average and students struggle to find companies with good packages. The system needs to be upgraded and needs to expand its reach. The students are not motivated enough to prepare well for the placement as the companies are very few and the higher the toppers mainly.
Placements: As all of you must know, doing courses in programmes and honours will not get you a job. You must do a technical course. These courses are just meant to tell you that you are a graduate. Companies do come here for placements.
Placements: It is a distance learning college, so there are no placements. Amazon offers BPO placements. Most of the students are pursuing their courses just for a degree. So, students have no interest in private jobs.
Placements: DU SOL is mainly joined by those students who are preparing for any competitive exam or professional courses like CA, CS, or CMA. The main advantage is that students can get their degree as well as prepare for any competitive exam like UPSE simultaneously. SOL does not provide any package over any course, nor there are companies that recruit students from SOL. There are not many placements in this course but the degree worth is equal to the regular course. Also, these days employers do not see w...
Placements: The placements percentage for this college was not good, only those students who prepare for certain exams prefer SOL for their higher education. This college was just about getting a degree and nothing useful, students won't get anything out of that degree even.
