B.A. (Hons.) in Geography - Batch of 2027
Offered by Shaheed Bhagat Singh Evening College
4.4
4Placements4Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
The faculty of Geography is the best; the teachers are awesome, and the infrastructure is also nice.
Placements: Around more than 400 students got placements from this college. The highest package has gone up to 20 LPA, and the lowest has been around 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course include Tata and many more. This college is more focused on providing internships to their students for life experience.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good, but not very good because some classrooms are small, and there are very few classrooms that have AC installed. The food in the canteen is just good, but there are more options available, and the college has two canteens. One significant drawback is that our college does not have any hostel facilities.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and very knowledgeable. They are also very helpful and make sure that their students have understood the topics well. Every week, they hold tutorial classes for tests, projects, assignments, and more. If you are well prepared, then you can easily top the class and secure the first position.
Other: My course is B.A. Hons in Geography, which was my first preference because I love geography. One main problem with this college is that they don't organize fests and other events.

It is the best college on South Campus.
Placements: About 95%+ of students pass out every year. This college is one of the best colleges for Geography Hons. Other facilities are also very good. As our batch was effected by the pandemic, we didn't enjoy much, but we enjoyed our trip to Manali from college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is the best as there are newly constructed buildings. If anyone desires to enroll in Geography Hons., at University of Delhi, I recommend this college to them. Extra activities are also conducted here for our skill development. Overall, I'll suggest you this college for better performance.
Faculty: Exams are offline as per the university's guidelines. Some of the professors are very good, and others are average. Office work is easy. The staff are very good and jovial.
Other: The college is affordable and provides the best education facilities. It has the best library.

Really good infrastructure, not satisfied with faculty.
Placements: The placements in college are good as far as the college records are concerned. Recently they have also announced a programme called 'job mela' for placements where few usual companies are expected to come. One can easily check these companies' names in the college's website in the placement section.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of college the is beautiful. A lot of plantation has been done so that makes it even more beautiful. Wi-Fi is not available for students. The library might just be the best thing about the college. Classrooms on the other hand are below average IMO.
Faculty: Faculty members are pretty friendly but you might not find a few of them qualified enough. The classes are regular. The relevance of the geography is good if you're preparing for competitive exams, better if it's UPSC. One can easily give the exams and fetch good marks without too much fuss and also do your preparation for competitive exams alongside.

It has really good infrastructure and is good value for money.
Placements: There are no placements for geography students in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Evening College, though you can get some placements in the commerce department. The highest and lowest salary packages in the commerce department go from 4 LPA to 12 LPA, which a student can look forward to pursuing his or her graduation.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good over here. Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, geography labs, a library, computer labs, etc., are available here. These are beneficial to students in a variety of ways. There are no hostel facilities, either for the morning or for the evening batch. Overall, the infrastructure is amazing.
Faculty: Teachers here are really helpful and highly qualified. The semester exams will definitely make you stressed a bit. The pass percentage was about 92% last year. This year, it is around 94% to 95% in geography, around 96% in the commerce departments, and nearly 85% to 98% in other departments.

It is good for you all.
Infrastructure: There are labs for my course, as well as infrastructure is descent, teachers are good. There are books available in the library, but stocks are less. We have a canteen, sports room, etc. But do not have the hostel facilities in the college.
Faculty: The teachers are good to the students. They will teach you everything, and you will feel supportive. They are helpful from their side. If you have any query you can ask without any hesitation and they will answer you happily.
Other: I love to study geography, that's why I selected this course and college. Everything is good from the crowd to activities.
