It is the best engineering college from Borivali to Palghar region.

Placements: About 20% of the students from our course got placed. The lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA, while the highest salary package offered is 7 LAP. The top recruiting company which visited our college is Hudl. About 10% of the students from our batch got internships.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is top class. Classrooms, lab, Wi-Fi, library and all are well organised. Labs were performed regularly. Facilities like benches, fans, elevators, labs equipment and computer were also good. The food served in the canteen is not up to mark, and sports facilities are also not up to mark.

Faculty: The syllabus is far different from what skills needed in the industry. More practicals needed to be included in the course curriculum. Due to the lack of interest of students and also teachers, teachers in our college are not creative enough to improve students in studies. Our college organises technical paper presentation seminar, festival and BE final project.

Other: The best thing about our course is the diversity of subjects and scope to excel the skills. More practicals should be included in our course curriculum. Our college never has an interest in organising events or sponsoring fests, sports facilities, etc.

L.R. Tiwari College only wants fees, and they do not do anything for students.

Placements: There are placements only for computer science and IT, and placements are not provided properly for other branches. Lecturers don’t guide us properly. Actually, they lack in training students, including resume building. They only want assignments from us. None of the companies have come for recruitment.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is too good, but the computers are not working. The components in laboratories are not in proper quantities. Only the college infrastructure is good, and apart from that, everything is poor. There is not even a license to operate an application for study purposes.

Faculty: The faculty are not helpful in any way. They expect only assignments and write-up from us. They force us to attend the lectures. They are not even bothered if we understand those or not, they just want our presence. Proper help is not given by the faculty to complete projects.

Other: In the college fest and events, there is no contribution from the college. Instead of that, they charge extra for the college events.

For me, I will rate the college 6/10.

Placements: The placement is not good so everyone has to try from outside. Do not expect anything from this college with respect to placements. Startup companies do come but provide very less salary. Almost 3rd-party payroll companies are recruiting. The college also arranges a job fair. but all BPO companies come to recruit. The worst part is they also take the entry fee from students of the same college. In 2016, the entry fee was Rs 200.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and the equipment in the lab are the latest. Cleanliness is good, but Wi-Fi provides less speed. For sports, there is no ground for cricket. Football is played with less space. There is no court for volleyball. In fact, the badminton and volleyball court is the same. The canteen is good as the food is really awesome.

Faculty: Many of the faculty members are simultaneously doing ME and teaching in the same college. Almost 80% of them are good in teaching and they have excellent subject knowledge.There is no industry exposure and no industrial visit. Once an industrial visit was planned but the fee was so high that no was able to afford. Very few of us were able to afford it hence that visit was cancelled.
