Q:   How can I get admission in Shri Ram College of Commerce?

A: 

In 2022, Shri Ram College of Commerce (like all DU affiliated colleges) adopted CUET UG exam for admission to its undergraduate courses. Shri Ram College of Commerce admission 2023 for UG courses (as per DU) will be through Common Seat Allocation System of the University of Delhi. But, at first, it is necessary that aspirants opt for DU during CUET form filling and later apply on the CSAS portal to be eligible for admission. The admission process after CUET result declaration is explained below:

Step 1: After the declaration of the CUET UG exam, register on the DU CSAS portal in multiple phases.

Step 2: Submit Shri Ram College of Commerce + Course combination preferences in the order of priority on the CSAS dashboard. Here student must select their preferred course and college as the option. 

Step 3: The University has released the dates for three DU CSAS Seat Allocation Lists which will be out on August 1, August 10 and August 22, 2023, respectively for all categories. 

Step 4: Once the candidate "Accept" the provisionally allocated seat, the Shri Ram College of Commerce will verify the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate online. The college has an option to 'Accept' or 'Reject' the admission of the student basis the verification. 

Step 5: Once Shri Ram College of Commerce accords the approval, candidates will have to pay the 'Admission Fee' to confirm their seat.

Q:   What is the procedure to take admission to the BCom course at Shri Ram College of Commerce?

A: 

At the undergraduate level, SRCC College offers BCom and various other courses to students. The eligibility criteria to apply for the BCom course is CUET. The total tuition fee for the BCom course is INR 87,700. Candidates must first fill out the application form and apply for admission to various courses. Admission to all the Shri Ram College of Commerce courses is entrance-based. While Shri Ram College of Commerce accepts CUET UG exam for admission to its undergraduate courses, admission to all the PG programmes will be subject to the CUET- PG exam starting admission 2023. The institute along with DU started accepting CUET UG starting 2022 and the CUET PG from 2023 session onward. Placements: Almost 50% of the batch size got easily placed with good offers from Consulting and Finance companies The highest package is 35 LPA, the lowest is 6 LPA and the average is 10 LPA. Top companies are BCG, Brain, and McKinsey. 50% get internship.
Infrastructure: The college offers high-class facilities ranging from Wi-Fi, Labs, Library. Hostels are very modern will all the necessities equipped. We have the most updated sports Lawn. The canteen is hygienic with the best food in Delhi. Medical facilities are also top notch.
Faculty: The teachers are the best in the domain with the books they teach. The curriculum makes the student industry-ready. Semesters are a bit difficult. You need to study regularly if you need to get placement in top firms. Fests are the best of the college times. Business Conclaves and Crossroads are also organised.
Other: Society and clubs are most impressive and important. Internship are a must.

Infrastructure: Regarding infrastructure, the department is well-equipped with Wi-Fi, a library, and classrooms. The food quality in the hostel is good, and medical and health facilities are also available. Sports and games facilities are well-provided.

Placements: High percent of placed students from my course, that was 85 to 95%. The highest and the lowest package offered to my course is between 25 to 4 Lacs per year. The percent of students interning in this course was more than 60% in companies like Gemini and Accenture.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure present in my college are very good. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, all things are available for the students. The quality and facility in my hostel and canteen are very good; food is very tasty. Medical facilities are present. Sports facilities are present.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified, as well as knowledgeable. They have good teaching qualities. This course’s curriculum is relevant, and students are industry-ready. The semester exam in my course is not difficult; therefore, more than 85% of students pass every year from college.
Other: I chose this course to learn about business globally. The best thing about the course is that we have lots of university toppers as professors. There is no wish to improve in this course, as a list of extracurricular activities happen in my college.

The expected SRCC GBO cutoff for the general category is 280 and above. For the SC category expected SRCC GBO cutoff is 160 and above. For ST, PwD, EWS, and OBC categories the expected SRCC GBO cutoff is 120+, 100+, 250+, and 200+ respectively.

If your  goal is investment banking, SRCC is the more direct and efficient . But, if you value versatility, analytical rigor, and are open to additional qualifications, IIT can also be a strong choice but you may need additional degrees like BCA, MCA if you choose IIT.
