Exposure to the industry can be increased.
Placements: 40 percent of students were placed. The highest was approximately 5 LPA, the lowest 2.5 LPA and the average was 3.2 LPA. Top recruiting company was TCS. Internships were managed by students on their own. Placement together was very average at that time, but have improved a lot in recent years.
Infrastructure: Hostel is very average, with all basic amenities. Mess for the daily fooding serves below average quality of food. Fees of Mess and hostel is collected together, hence no matter whether you eat or not you have to pay for mess. Cafeteria in the campus is also very average with very limited options of food after 5 pm. Library of the institute is very good. You can find most of the standard books of your use and that in sufficient number.
Faculty: Faculty members are very qualified and helpful. Few exceptions are there, but most of the faculty members are helpful. You will be loaded with lots of assignments and evaluations which is vey important. Exposure to the industry can be increased.
Other: Half of the crowd is day scholar. Frequent and continuous evaluation can only considered as a highlight. Level of Events and Fest is good wrt the overall level of college. You can participate in extracurriculars activities, but you have take care of attendance of classes. Attendance is mandatory.

Infrastructure: 1. There have Classroom, Labs with projector, Best library with Wi-Fi, Saminar Hall, Different-different Labs for each Subjects. 2. There have very good hostal, delicious food available in mess and fast food available in canteen also, medical facilities also available, very weeks different- different events organize with indian superstars and games also.
Faculty: 1. Teachers were very helpful it's totally depends on your behavior, they were well qualified and knowledgeable. Each & every subject have specific teacher. The college teaches you how to work hard, cope up with the pressure, balance life and get results.
Placements: Although the college holds a good reputation of being the best college in the city, the placements in 2018 were quite average (way better than the previous batch). Some companies like TCS, Invecas, Shapoorji Paloonji recruited the students for technical posts, but rest were of BPO, KPO and other profiles hiring for non-technical posts. The placement cell has conducted placement exams like AMCAT and Co-Cubes on the campus to increase the number of placements. The situation was somewhat better for CS and IT branches as there were a considerable number of companies for them. Many students got placed in good firms through off-campus drives, so it all depends on your calibre and luck.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not up to the mark of prominent fancy private colleges, but the classrooms and labs are of good standards. The library is one of the best places in the college. You will find almost all standard books there, that too in good numbers. Hostel rooms are too small (boys' hostel). Mess food is below average. In the canteen, the quality and quantity of the food are not at all justified with the prices charged.
Faculty: Faculty members are hard working (except a few). There is a continuous evaluation of students and also faculty members. Quizzes, surprise test, pre-end exams, term papers, assignments and many more are conducted in the college which keep students engaged. If you want to get good marks in internal exams, then you have to earn it by performing well in every test.
Other: Technical and cultural fests are organised, but you won't be given any relaxation in academic activities to participate in the events. Students should know how to manage both the ends if they are participating in the events.

There is no other college like SRMCEM in Lucknow. All faculty members have the best knowledge.
Placements: SRMCEM college is a top college in Lucknow. It is always ranked 1st in the list of top engineering colleges in Lucknow, UP. The placements are also awesome with top most companies like TCS, Infosys, IBM, HCL, Accenture, Wipro, Tata Motors, Yash Papers coming to the campus to recruit students. The top companies always hire good candidates but give an opportunity to all the candidates. There are several rounds in the placement process like an online test, GD, technical round and HR round, and students who clear all the rounds are hired at entry level.
Infrastructure: The management of the college is very strict as in IITs. We have the best library in UP. Th college is located at Tiwariganj, Faizabad Road, Lucknow. There is a playground, gym, boys hostel, girls hostel, and a canteen. There are separate labs, and all instruments and lab equipment which are required for practicals are available in every lab. The lab staff and trainer are also very strict and check each and every step you do. They give very strict marks as per your ability. For first-year students, Dr. V.P Singh sir is very strict and shows the right direction to each and every student to choose the right path for their career and future. Each and every lab and classroom is very clean. If you are searching for an engineering college in Lucknow, then SRMCEM is the best college. You will always think big and be very professional once you enter this college.
Faculty: Faculty of this college in every branch are highly qualified and experienced. They show you the right direction and the right way to choose your career path and to decide your future. The course curriculum is very comprehensive. They apply course management like IITians so that you gain experiences like learn and earn. From the semester starting, quizzes are conducted every Monday and Saturday at morning shift so that your preparation goes in the right direction and you don't feel any pressure or burden at the time of your examination. You will always be ready to crack the examination. So I think it will be a pleasure for you if you study at SRMCEM. You will always gain quality from this college.
Other: There are many events organised every month. The campus is very good, and a free Wi-Fi facility is provided in all the surrounding areas of the college. There are Mercedes and BMW showrooms in a nearby area to the college. Every student is eligible for a scholarship, and many fee waiver seats are available in our college.

So much emphasis on rote learning! Try something productive, please.
Placements: The placement scenario of this college is average but still Lucknow's best. I am in my final year of engineering and the new placement director has opened up several new placement opportunities for us. Although my senior batch wasn't well placed. At that time college placements largely dependent on TCS but due to recession, the company did not turned up. So last year only few students were placed on campus. But this year, about 50% of the students are placed as the companies are arriving in the campus (all thanks to the new director). The highest salary offered is approximately 4 Lacs and the lowest is 2.4 LPA. The average salary is 2.8 Lacs. The companies visiting the campus are Edugorila, PCITS, Singsys, grey orange etc. These are basically Lucknow based companies or to be very specific start ups. The college made it compulsory for students to sit for AMCAT and cocubes which is a very good initiative in the direction of more placements. All kinds of roles are offered from a customer care analyst to a software developer. As far as internships are considered, the chances are fairly good. The faculty members and staff also helps the students to get internships. The stipend varies from nil to 3k per month. There is a dedicated placement cell. They try to get maximum number of students placed especially MBAs. For B.Tech graduates, the percentage of placement may increase in near future.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of college is satisfactory. The labs are well-equipped. The classrooms are spacious, well ventilated and clean. The library is up to date and air conditioned. It opens at 12 noon till 6 in the evening. Students can have good access to internet and other journals. Medical facilities are also satisfactory. There is a field (the only ground) in the campus where students play cricket, basketball and football. There's a basketball court. 'Spardha', an annual sports meet is also held in the month of march. Wi-Fi! Now that's the glitch. Unfortunately, there is no proper Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the campus. The hostelers are the biggest victim of this shortcoming. The hostel rooms are small and only 3-tiers are available. Single or double occupancy option does't even exist here. All the rooms are non-AC and no window for cooler setting. So summers in the college hostel is like too long to bear and too hot to survive (sometimes). The quality of the food in mess and canteen is okay. Like every mess, the food here gets us to crave for 'ghar Ka khaana'. There is a huge pond like water body besides the girl hostel which makes the environment around filthy and unfit.
Faculty: Ugh! Here comes the hard part. The curriculum is strict and conventional. There are two quizzes each week, Monday and Saturday. So if you're here, forget about spending a good weekend for four years of your life. Then there are a lot of assignments and tutorials and 75% attendance is mandatory. Unlike other colleges, it feels like we're in school again! Other than the hectic schedule, the some teachers are simply great. They are well qualified and experienced. They teach you like you're a kid. If you're ready to learn academically, this place is for you. The common method of teaching is chalk and board and rote learning. The student to faculty ratio is 40:1. The industry exposure is certainly not satisfactory. They provide you only one visit per year to any near-by working factory. I think the course curriculum is not much helpful for corporate jobs. You certainly have to prepare yourself individually apart from it.
Other: The college is situated on a national highway on the outskirts of the city. It has good connectivity to the city. There are buses and auto rickshaws available all day. Apart from the location, there are quite a good number of extra curricular activities going on in college, but only for a particular month of the year I. e. February. This month hosts the annual cultural festival 'Abhivyakti'. Students participate with huge enthusiasm. Also, an annual technical festival is held in the month of October called 'Grobots'. It promotes robotics and enhances technical skills. There are about 2000 students studying in this college. The good thing is there are several cell to join and upgrade your personality according to one's own interest. For instance, there is 'Literati cell' for literary activities and 'Step cell' for dance and 'Euphony cell' for singing. The college even has its own rock band.
