For someone who sincerely wants to study, this might not be the right place.

Placements: Have no knowledge about the placements. Albeit, groups were made in order to share news regarding companies looking for hiring candidates, and the process of applying for the positions, the placements, internships and the opportunities after graduating are not the main attractions of this college for this particular course.

It is a good college for students.

Placements: Nearly 25% of the students from our class got recruited. Companies like Just Dial and Jio offer sales jobs. None of the students got recruited for internships because there was no company for internships. The role offered is sales executive.

I am satisfied with good infrastructure, faculty and events.

Placements: There are very less opportunities for arts students because most of the companies offer placements for B.Com students, but yet, the college offered other opportunities for all students. The percentage of students who got internships was around 5% of the total students in the college. The packages offered were not much good.

This college is growing every year.

Placements: There is a placement cell in our college. It is not that good, but it's improving every year. I think around 40-50% of the students were placed. A student got placed in TCS. Associate level roles are offered to the students from our course. The lowest salary offered ranges from Rs. 12,000-13,000 per month and the highest salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month. Many students got an internship. I am not sure about the salary package offered to the students.

Absolutely this college is worth having college life with lots of experience and knowledge.

Placements: Different companies visit our campus and recruit students. Companies like Reliance and other big brands visit here for placements. If you want to get admission in this college, then you should join some of the societies. It will make your college life worth and also provide you with a lot of work experience.

The college is good. Everything has its own merits and demerits, so the college needs to add.

Placements: The college has a WhatsApp group named Placement Cell of Shyam Lal College. In that group, new internships are posted, and interested students can take part in that internship. Our seniors were selected as an intern in the companies. Almost 68% of the students were selected. But I am not sure about this as I didn't read the college data. So I can't write accurate data, and this is the approximate value. Students are offered roles of a human resource manager, marketing manager, finance manager, e...

The college provides good theoretical knowledge but not practical knowledge.

Placements: You won't get any placements from this college unless you are lucky enough. The placement cell is not much efficient. Getting a job directly from this college is a bit difficult. It's not the top DU college, so very few companies visit the college to offer placements. If you are going to pursue any degree from this college, you better don't expect placements. Even if you get placed, the average salary would be Rs. 15,000 per month to Rs. 20,000 per month. From the view of our seniors and other s...

It is a decent off-campus college.

Placements: Placements in SLCE are decent, and you can get jobs with an average salary package of 2-3 LPA. Most of the jobs offered are BPO jobs and office backend jobs. In 2017, companies like ICICI Bank, HDFC didn't visit, but other similar companies visited for placements.

This is an affordable college affiliated to Delhi University.

Placements: To be honest, placement scenario and opportunities provided to the students in Shyamlal Evening were not much good. Only some of the BPO companies visited our college to offer placements. There should be a dynamic placement scenario in the college so that students get more good opportunities for their bright career and future.

The college is good, and the faculty are cooperative. There are many societies on the campus.

Placements: Placements of our college are good. ICICI Prudential visited the college to offer the roles related to the business development, and many companies visited the college for placements. As we are eligible to take part in the university placement drives, students are provided with a lot of opportunities. Genpact hired me, and I was offered a role in the finance domain. Students get placed depending on their performance.

In my view, the college is good and one should take admission in it.

Placements: There were many companies like ICICI Prudential and Honda that gave placement opportunities in our college. Around, 25% of the students got placements through these placement cells. The college also provides summer internships, and the placement cell team keeps a look regarding these internships.

Satisfied with the quality of education and facilities, but the campus crowd is not good.

Placements: Many good companies visited the college and agreed to provide off-campus placements with a salary of around Rs. 20,000 per month. Roles offered to the students included sales, customer services, marketing, HR, etc. The college has an excellent placement cell. It provides opportunities to the students throughout the year. Companies like ICICI Prudential, Dream Group, etc., visited the college this year.

An above average college, but, catching up gradually.

Placements: At the end of final year students get placed according to their grades, internships and experience during all these years. Job prospects are good according to Bachelor courses. Around 70 percent of the students got placed with an average package of around 3 lacs.

Overall the college has good infrastructure for studies as well as sports.

Placements: Placement package will around up to 2 lacs p.a. The placement percentage is nearly about 10%. But it does not give quality placement. The companies which come are also not reputed ones. My seniors have a better placements but we didn't. The college don't organize guest lectures on personality devolpment so that anyone can get a job.

Better infrastructure and good teachers.

Placements: Most of the companies visited during the time of placement. Most students get themselves registered for it but lesser no. Are selected due to their own fault. Most of them lacked in communication skills and some got nervous due to which they failed. Inspite some who got selected get a better package and a better designation.

College is fine but the only drawback is placements.

Placements: The placements in college are okay, but as a student, I was not satisfied with the placement cell. Moreover, other students were also not satisfied, but if you just want a job after an undergraduate course, then it is good for you. So it is up to you what you want from your college.

Shyam Lal is the top-most college in East Delhi.

Placements: The college has tie-ups with more than 100 companies to provide opportunities to thousands of students every year. 76% of the students in our batch are successfully placed in the recent placement programme, and about 72% of the students were placed in the previous year. The salary offered by different companies varies from Rs. 10,000 per month to Rs. 32,000 per month. Future Group, Pantaloons, Reebok, Reliance, etc., are some of the top companies that visited the college to offer placements. The...

All about arts and commerce in Shyam Lal College (evening).

Placements: About placements, there is not any active cell here to provide any type of placement assistance and interview. Only one option you have is CPC, i.e. central placement cell and they conducted by the University of Delhi for all colleges. You can go there and get a chance to give interviews. And finally, I was selected in Genpact by CPC, so I am thankful.

The best DU college in East Delhi.

Placements: The college provides placement opportunities on its own and also with the help of central placement cell in one of the biggest MNCs for commerce scope, and they also provide internship in different companies. The teachers also help students in preparing for an interview so that they could face the life confidently.

The crowd is not good, and teachers are very helpful. Societies are doing excellent.

Placements: The placements have not been very good at Shyam Lal, but the students and teachers are giving their hundred percent to improve in placements. Even the placements have improved as compared to previous years. Placement cell is working quite hard to improve the placement percentage.
