In terms of placement, the college is not good barely some companies visit the campus and most of them are marketing students.

I am satisfied with college infrastructure but it needs to work on academics.
Placements: Around 60% of students get their placements. Some students are hired as teachers in top government schools, while IT students are hired by companies in cybersecurity, networking, managed services, software development, and cloud backup services. Analytics students are placed in reputed companies.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is too good library has every type of books you needed the plazas are equipped, charging station, internet access all over college journals and digitally accessible system which consist of a central library complex and many more facilities .
Faculty: Exams are semi-difficult, but it's hard to get a good percentage. They need to add some curriculum activities related to the course so that everyone can learn more about their field.

It is bad in terms of infrastructure, crowds, and college life.
Placements: Almost 450 students are placed in this college last year. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA-5 LPA, and the highest placement was taken by the students of B.Com (Hons). The medium salary package offered 3 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 7 LPA-8 LPA, which is the highest in the history of this college.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi, and the washrooms are dirty. Crowd is not good in sports and games. Library is average, and canteen prices are too high with below-average taste. Classrooms infrastructure is average, with no ventilation and non-working fans. Campus is very small.
Faculty: Faculty members are very well-qualified and knowledgeable. They provide good education to students and take regular classes, as compared to other Delhi University colleges. Course is quite good for B.Com (Hons). Semester exams are pretty easy if can have a basic knowledge of the subject.
Other: Course is best in this college and is taught by best faculty. I wish campus size and infrastructure were improved. Evening shift of college should be closed because of crowd, which is quite poor. They mostly engage in fighting and abusing. Events are not up to expected level of Delhi University; they are quite cheap and unorganised.

Shyam Lal College, Shahdara.
Placements: The placement facility at this college is very poor. The highest package for a B.Com student is ₹30,000 per month, and the percentage of students who got internships is only 10%. This college increases the fees year by year; I paid ₹20,500 in the first year, ₹22,500 in the second year, and ₹24,500 in the third year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for courses is good because many teachers who teach in SRCC-like colleges have migrated to our college, Shyam Lal. I gave 3 stars for the course, but there is no hostel in this college for students, so I gave 0 for hostel facilities. The department of courses needs to improve.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and well-qualified, with good knowledge. Their communication skills with students are also very good. The semester exams at this college are very difficult because they check our mark sheets very carefully.
Other: I chose this course because I want to work in large companies. Events and fests are held every 2-3 months, and the campus surroundings are very pleasant, with plenty of trees and plants.

Best off-campus college.
Placements: Shyam Lal College is one of the prominent colleges of the University of Delhi with the best internship facilities and great packages, up to 14 Lacs. SLC offers recruitment in various well-known companies. It is one of the off-campus colleges that offers various language courses.
Infrastructure: SLC is one of the properly developed colleges, with the best Wi-Fi facility inside the campus, well-furnished labs and classrooms with proper ventilation. The college contains a huge library and reading room facility for the students. SLC paves the way for students who want to pursue various sports like badminton, cricket, and football.
Faculty: SLC offers the best quality education through well-educated teachers. All the teachers are very polite and supportive as well. The college offers various courses according to students' wishes, interests, and add-on skills, as well as societies for multi-talent development.
Other: I opted for a B.A. prog in 2019 to pursue my career as a civil servant. Besides lectures, we were provided with the best environment.

The college runs in 2 shifts.
Placements: I am currently pursuing a B.Com program from Shyam Lal College. Regarding placements, many companies come to the college for placement, and the average package here is 4 lacs, and the maximum is up to 8 lacs, based on your skills. It can get higher also.
Infrastructure: There are no hostel facilities in the college, but there are many PGs and flats for students, and the price for the PGs is about 8 thousand to 9 thousand. And if you take a flat, the average expense will be up to 5 thousand, depending on room sharing. Classrooms are good and well-furnished. Wi-Fi is also present, and almost all course-related books are available in the library.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, supportive, and knowledgeable. You can ask your doubts and queries whenever you want. And yes, there are many societies related to your course, like the commerce society, dance society, music society, science society, maths societies, and many more, so events are done on a regular basis. The exam level is normal; questions come from previous year's papers, and the passing percentage is 33%.
Other: I chose this course for banking. The best thing about my course is that you can go for an MBA and CA using this course, and banking also. There are many societies in the college for fun and events, like Amour, Enactus, and many more.

Actual reality of a DU college .
Placements: College has diverse courses and all the streams, which are science, commerce and arts. The highest package for which a candidate was placed from college was about 12 LPA. But on average, only 10 to 20 percent of students are getting placements and more of them usually get around 4 to 6 LPAs only. And the rest might get internships for experience .
Infrastructure: Infrastructure facilities aren't so good in the college. Although whiteboards are being installed in every classroom. Projectors placed in classrooms aren't working at all. Teachers tend to take online classes whenever they don't get labs for practical classes. Moreover, there are 3 labs in college and only 2 are working in the 3rd lab; there aren't laptops working, not even a proper chair for sitting. The canteen is having average food now but with a lot of humidity in it as it's not having enough fans and AC to control the heat inside. But the library of the college is amazing, with proper air conditioning and comfortable chairs on the first floor; the library on the ground floor isn't so well maintained.
Faculty: Semester exams in the college are too difficult as the students need to get passing marks in both internal and external. And internal marks are 70 out of which at least 40 should be scored so that students get passed. In the external examination as well, which is 90 marks, students need at least 30 to 35 for getting passing marks overall.
