College is developing at each & every sector. Serious work on placements & college fest is required.

Placements: The placements were not from that big companies. The companies like RBS, Concentrix and other startups come to the college. My salary package is 2.5LPA, after being placed in Concentrix. Internships were quite good, and banks like SBI and HDFC has provided this opportunity. I worked as an intern at M. Sadashiv & Associates, a CS firm and It was a quite good experience. I worked for 15 days over there and got Rs.4500. The placement cell is developing amazingly year by year. Though It still needs ...

As a learning institution, the Shyam Lal College is the great.

Placements: Most of the students get placed. The companies which visit the college range from the Concentrix to various banks and it allows students from every field to take a chance. The salaries depend on the duration of your internship and the way you are doing it. The placements are also applicable only to the students who have cleared all their exams, and some of them demand exact scores (e.g. above 50% or 60%). There are many levels of placement, from the written paper to the group discussion to the H...

Brilliant infrastructure and faculty but poor placements

Placements: The placements in our college were very poor. Companies like RBS, Bata, Reebok, etc. visited our campus. But the highest package they offered was only up to 3 lakhs, so it was not worth it. Only 20% of the students got placed in out batch, which is quite low. Mainly call centre and BPO jobs were offered by the companies.

Review of Shyam Lal College, University of Delhi.

Placements: Placement is good. Around 40-50% students from different streams get selected by different companies, each year. Companies like Work, Biohelix, and several other companies visit each year with a good package of minimum starting 3-4 lakhs a year. Many students got selected the year I graduated from there.

Don't trust rumours. It's a DU college and has facilities like one.

Placements: Placement was there but not very good as in comparison with other campus colleges of DU. But placement depends more on the individual capability. So a few but good offers are there. Many companies visited the college and the selection range is from 35% -40%. Salary is 9k-35k.

Shyamlal College - The best off campus college.

Placements: Shyamlal College has experienced a drastic change over the years. It has its own placement cell, driven by the students. The students are not only offered employment opportunity but also winter and summer internships. Many companies like ICICI Bank, RBS Bank, Concentrix, IDBI etc are coming here for hiring students at decent packages.

College is very good. Faculty over here are very helpful and experienced. They make the learning quite easy. Infrastructure has now improved as there is a newly constructed building. College also invites companies for placement of third year students of different courses. Further, from time to time college also organizes various workshops and seminars. It also provides an opportunity for state level tournaments. College gives a rocking farewell party to outgoing students. One can opt for this co...

As a student of Shyam Lal College, I had a very good memories. College has a good infrastructure which comprises of library as we could find any book as and when required but without Air-conditioner and Garden were less as compared to North Campus Colleges. But Nowadays, The Building is in under-construction and renovation work is going-on. The College is on the main road, so there is proper connectivity with the city bus metro & local conveyance. College faculties were good. They had full knowl...

Honest review of Shyam Lal College (morning + evening).

Placements: Basically, the placements are dependent on the course you have been selected for. Shyam Lal College is very good for B.Com and other honors like Chemistry, but if we talk about placement, there are no such good placement offers for B.A. program students.
