Placements: Delhi University conducted the central placements. Our college doesn't conduct any placements. Approximately 20% of the students from our department got placed. SPM is affiliated with Delhi University, so there are only central placements for students. The highest salary package offered was 3 LPA.
Placements: Not many companies visited the college during my tenure. We went to the main campus placement cell (CPC) of DU. Many companies like Genpact, Wipro, Atos, etc., visited for placements. Many students were placed in Wipro. Many of us went for off-campus placements as well.
Placements: Companies like Wipro, TCS and Genpact, etc., have visited our campus to recruit the students. They offered jobs in all domains. The salary packages will depend on the kind of jobs that students get. The college has a placement cell which works effectively. The placement cell works all around the year to get good companies to campus.
Placements: The placement cell of our college is average. Companies like TCS and Amazon recruit the students for BPO profile. Overall, it is good. According to our seniors, the process of recruitment was easy. Some basic questions were asked during the interview. Only students from some selected departments like B.com, computer science, etc., could apply for placements. It depends on the head of the placement cell as she chooses the departments.
Placements: The college has a placement cell, but it is not that great. Average packages are offered to the students. Startups visit the college to offer placements. Internship opportunities are low. Being an off-campus college, very few and average companies come for placements.
Placements: Placements in the college were really good. Many good companies visited the college and hired students from our college. The companies were really good and gave opportunities to many students. Both the juniors and seniors had a really great time, and we learned a lot from them. Those interviews really changed us and made us strong for other interviews.
Placements: SPM College has an active placement cell. Companies like Amazon, Genpect, Tata and many other companies visit the college every year. They provide decent work profile with normal salary packages. Five students from my class were selected by Tata. The highest package was 25000/month for B.Com students.
Placements: The placements provided by the college were average. Mostly, the companies related to customer care profiles visited the college. Other than that, some other good companies also offered good packages to the students. The placements record of the college can be improved further by approaching good companies.
Placements: There were no good placements in our college. I had completed B.Com (H) from that college and most of the jobs were of 'Call Centres only. Besides, 2-3 jobs were there which were quite very good but then, only 2-3 in a college of more than 1000 students.
Placements: In spite of the placement cell running from years, placements were not at all good. Very few students were placed, and the companies that visited that our college were also not good. The college didn't provide internships also. I think the highest package offered was 2.5 Lacs per annum.
Placements: The college has a placement cell, which works in coordination with the central university cell. It provides placement opportunities to the students, every year. Some students are placed in the companies like Tata Power, Jet Airways, Genpact, KVC Consultancy, etc.
Placements: No placements are given on the behalf of the college and no placement cell is there. The students need to find internships on their own if they wish to apply somewhere through various internship websites, the most popular site being www.internshala.com. At the initial level students will get maximum of Rs. 10,000/- for whatever course, be it honours or programme course. But with sponsorships, internship fairs can be held in the college itself.
Placements: I didn't participate in the placement cell, provided by the college, but I went for the one at North campus. They offer placements to KPOs, and that is a plus point as you don't have to go for the BPOs. I recommend you to go for the placements provided by the colleges.
Placements: There is no placement and internship for B.A. programme. This is disadvantage for this course. There is no any basic criteria for this particular course. There is very low percentage of students got internship from colleges. It is efficient. There is no idea about for placement of other batch and senior batch.
Placements: The placement cell is the upcoming one. Though, not working at its required potential, it has brought in 2-3 good companies for placements. Last year, only Genpact and KPMG were the companies which arrived. Other courses, do not enjoy this facility much.
Placements: Our placement cell is average. Only 3 and 4 companies are connected to our college. The company I remember who visited the campus are Genpact and Amazon. They mostly prefer the students of B.Com honours and economic honours that's why B.A. students don't get chance to sit for an interview.
Placements: The placement cell is not too good, but they are trying to improve as we had new companies this year like Flipkart, Genpact. It's improving day by day, and they are trying to get better companies. It will take a bit more time, but it will improve as companies are getting aware of the college.
Placements: Well, being a computer science student, we expect more placements and internships, but it is very disheartening that the scenario is not at all good. Only 2% to 5% of the toppers are placed in the IT firms. In fact, the ones placed are not getting an overwhelming amount of salary. It is less than Rs. 25,000. The placement companies do not include Wipro or Infosys. The companies that visited us were not that much famous. Talking about the internship, well this is a better option since the summer...
Placements: There are as such no placements for psychology students after completing graduation even though in various branches, but to get a job(counsellor etc.) one must do Masters in psychology, but placement drive is conducted, and students from other departments take part in it. The students generally go for their Master's degree instead of joining corporates.
Placements: The placements are not that good. The placement team was created only when we were in the final year and not before that. So, the campus placements generally do not happen. I am not aware of anyone who got placed through the college's placement cell. But that is probably due to the fact that it just started, it may increase gradually.
