Lack of co-curricular attention in our college

Placements: Most of the placements come only for students of B.Com, B.Tech and other management courses. Our college only organized the sessions for the placement cells, therefore, there were no important placements for students for the BA programme. In terms of the salary offered, my friend told me it was around in between 10,000 to 40,000 according to the student's work experience plus study marks. I don't know about the company names but there were management companies and some marketing companies too. ...

Off-campus life 2014-2017.

Placements: The placement cell only focuses on the commerce and computer fields which is a drawback for the arts courses offered in the college. We id not have much of companies which visited the campus. Just Vistara and some small-scale companies were focusing on the computer science batch and some companies we have not heard of. They definitely need to work on the companies that come to the campus.

Placements are average, infrastructure is satisfactory, faculty is good.

Placements: The placement of the college should be good as every student wants to get in a good organisation. The placement of the college is not good. Only one company came for our batch that is Genpact. The maximum package they were offering to the commerce students was 1.5 lakh.

Placements: The placement is not so good. A maximum package of 1.5 lakhs was offered by Genpact and no other company visited the campus for our batch. Students wanted more opportunities. The placement cell is not so active.

Good college with sufficient facilities and helpful professors. Overall satisfied with the college.

Placements: Only one company came for placement. I did not appear in the placement as I had to pursue further studies so I do not know much about the process. Genpact came when I was studying and took almost half of the population. I think more companies should come so that there are more opportunities for the students.

The infrastructure is excellent, teachers are very motivational, seniors not happy with placements.

Placements: The placements of the college overall are not so good. Students want more companies to come but not a good percentage of students get placed as we don't have placement drives for any course. 1-2 companies come for the placement. The seniors are not so happy with the placements.

Not good placement opportunities, experienced faculty and satisfying infrastructure.

Placements: The placements are the thing that everyone strives for. Every student wants to get placed in an organisation where he/she can grow. The placements of the college are not good. Only one company came for the placements for our batch, that is Genpact. The students were expecting more companies. The college does not provide good placement opportunities.

A very good college with a whopping infrastructure.

Placements: The placements for B.A. programme are not good. It is almost nill for this course. Although companies came for Campus Placement, but the package they were providing was not good. Many students got placed to some companies but they were not fully satisfied.

Overall, a good college but placements are not up to the mark.

Placements: There are no such placements for my course as we have to apply to different schools and colleges on our own. However, contacts are made during the training period provided by the college which is helpful. But no placements are there for this course from the college's side.

SPM College is one of many good colleges for girls. The college has a well established academics including a great and very inspiring faculty. Faculty and various respective departments of the college always helped in reaching our goals. Teachers here work hard and believes in an interactive session. The infrastructure of our beautiful college is really amazing. Plus the metro station ie. Shivaji Park metro station is at a stone's throw distance. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College is a great colleg...

Really good infrastructure, facilities, and affordable food.

Placements: The percentage must be based on the CUET results if wanted to take admission in regular classes. Anyone interested in working with DU can take participation in any internship programmes; marks don't matter in it. They took us for field visits to observe the condition of underdeveloped areas.

I am satisfied with our college.

Placements: Placements are not good in our college. There is no scope for placements and internships. You have to try for off-campus placements and internships. About 20% of students got internships.

The college has good infrastructure but fails in providing practical knowledge.

Placements: The placements are very low in our college. Many students had to go to other colleges to give interviews for private companies. Jobs offered in placements were not that good. Most of the companies that approached us for interviews were start-ups. The highest package offered was not more than 2.5 LPA.

I am satisfied with faculty, internship opportunities, and infrastructure.

Placements: Placements are not so good in this college but we can say average. But a lot of internship opportunities are provided in the field of human resource management, social media marketing, business development executive, content writing, etc. They promote students to work with NGOs too.

College is good is terms of knowledge and value of money.

Placements: 61% of students are placed during the placement and the highest package is for an economics teacher of Rs 10-15 lacs and the lowest is Rs 3-4 lacs. My companies like Mamearth, Inflows, Marico, and all come to my college for placement, and around 30% of students do not get jobs.

Placements: Students who got 90 and above percentage are the students placed in our course. Placement Cell has recently been active in this college and last year a package of 8 Lacs per annum was given to a student. The lowest package wase 3-4 Lacs per annum and the average package was 4-5 LPA. Teachers motivate all students to participate in as many internship programmes as possible. Shyama prasad mukherjee, college for women. Great infrastructure, professional faculty.

Placements: There were 50 students in this course and admission is through entrance only. Almost everyone gets internship every year but considering the current situation its quite difficult. We can't depend fully on the placement cell. Students have to find internship by themselves once the college ends.
