Placements: Placement cell is not very active in my college. However, the placement cell provides some opportunities, such as small placements and internships, which are beneficial for students to gain new experiences. Small companies recruit students, mostly in the fields of economics and mathematics. I believe the highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, not more than that.
Placements: During my batch (2021-24), there were around 62 students in our course Geography Hons. Genuinely, if I tell you the truth, there are no such placements for Geography Honors students, but also the placements at our college are not so good. But our department (geography) always conducts various seminars and lectures for students related to discipline.
Placements: Our college is not that good in placements. The average salary package offered is around 5 LPA. I am not satisfied with the placements but it's all about government college. It's DU, so the hype is all about it. The college should work on the recruitment and internships.
Placements: I'm doing BA political science at this college and they offer many practical activities to participate in with field visits, etc. They send us to many field visits as interns, and DU provides many internships within the course enrollment period. We get to learn a lot of things.
Placements: I was a Non-Collegiate student there through NCWEB and pursued a B.Com programme. Amazon did the campus drive there for the Customer Support Executive profile. They gave equal chances to all the students there were multiple grounds for the same. Many students got placed in around 3 to 4 LPA packages.
Placements: Overall, placements are good, although I do not have specific information about packages since I have not attended any placement cell programs. The packages range from low to middle range. The main roles offered in our course are teacher, educator, and consultant, as it is primarily oriented towards the education field. However, students can obtain various roles as well.
Placements: The college attracts a wide range of recruiting companies and also tries to provide internship opportunities along with job placements. About 35-40% of students get jobs and internships in my course, while other students opt for government jobs (teaching professions).
Placements: There are total 60 students in my batch. Ngos and some of the small companies come for recruitment for this course. 40% to 50% students get recruited. There are government initiated internships in which the students get recruited by interview and LOR.
Placements: There are not many placements available for my course, but for commerce courses, some of the top companies visit to offer jobs. The highest package offered was 6LPA and the lowest package was 3LPA. 50 to 60% of the students get job offers in my college from commerce courses.
Placements: The placement cell was not that active earlier, so there were issues regarding placements and internships, but now it's gaining attention due to their activeness, and hopefully, they will introduce better packages and internships as well. They have been seen working, so hopes are high.
Placements: The total number of students in my batch is 36–40. (2022-2026) The highest package is around 8 lacs, and the average is 6 lacs offered in economics honors. I don't know about recruiting companies for my course. Around 50% students got internships but NGO ones from Penchaan Street School, etc.
Placements: I was from the 2019–2022 batch, and from my course, no one got placed; other course students might have gotten placed. Many companies came to our college for placements, including KPMG and NGO's. The average package at the college is about 4–5 LPA. Students got placed in various roles in life, including accounting, social work, HR, and many more.
Placements: There are in total two sections in our course with approximately 45 students in each batch. I haven't passed out yet so I am not sure about the placements. Although there is a placements cell present in the college to help the students with placements after their college is over.
Placements: The placements of this college are not so good. Only 20 to 30% students get placed, but the placements cell of my college is good in providing internships. As majority of the college comprises of commerce department students, so majority of the placements are done in the commerce department.
Placements: Our college doesn't provide placements for B.Sc. mathematics honors as they have gone for further studies. This course teaches many things from different perspectives, so the knowledge you gain here will help you in further studies. This college is good in all aspects.
Placements: I am from B.Com (Hons). there are 2 to 3 companies visited the campus during our course. They conduct interviews in many stages for recruitment which is quite good. Around 3 to 4 students got selected in this course. The percentage of students got Internships was decent but mostly companies were hiring for night shifts.
Placements: The placement cell is not good. It does not work properly. Most placements are from the science departments. This college also provides B.Ed. They have to provide compulsory internships for B.Ed. students because internships are part of their course. This college is very strict about attendance, so we cannot do any internships outside of the college.
Placements: Placements are not good here. If you are looking for placements, don't join here. There is no support from the college side. You can try off-campus placements. There is also no support for internships. It's up to you. It is pointless to check for placements if you want to pursue an MBA.
Placements: I am a B.A. student and here is no placement system for arts stream students here, you can get placement if you are from B.Com or Science stream student and placement only depends on your skill and academic grades. You can get good package as 2 to 2.5 lacs par year.
