Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Is BE/BTech at Siddhant College of Engineering worth the investment?

Based on the reviews and feedback from current students and alumni, here's a summary of the key points:

Pros:

* Good faculty: Many students appreciate the qualifications and support of the teachers.
* Well-designed curriculum: The curriculum is structured to prepare students for industrial requirements and future prospects.
* Infrastructure: The college provides all necessary facilities, including Wi-Fi, libraries, and hostels.
* Nature-filled surroundings: The college's location amidst natural surroundings adds to its charm.

Cons:

* Placement concerns: While some students report decent placements, many express disappointment and frustration with the lack of top companies visiting the campus.
* Low internships: Limited internship opportunities, especially unpaid ones, may hinder students' career growth.
* Poor teaching habits: A few teachers are reported to be absent due to payment issues, which affects student learning outcomes.
* Limited campus life: Few events and fests are organized by the college, leading to a relatively quiet campus atmosphere.

Placements:

* Average placement record: About 20-30% of students are placed annually.

Faculty: Some teachers are very friendly. Semester exams are so tough. My final Percentage was 70%.
Other: Still I'm happy. Only thing to improve is campus selection process.

The college is good for those who only want studies because extra activities are hardly held here.
Placements: Few of the companies visited the college, but the core mechanical company were only 3. Many of the students were placed. As the college is situated near the industrial area, there should be companies interested, but no one is interested in visiting this college, very few companies of BPO visited during my time.
Infrastructure: This college has a very attractive infrastructure, lawns, trees, gardens, very eco-friendly surrounding. The buildings are also good. There is a very big ground to play, the good pavement is also present, and good seminar halls of all the colleges. There are nice information technology laboratories and chemistry laboratories.
Faculty: This college has an experienced faculty, and they all are very supportive, but there were two incidents where faculty went on strike due to payment issues. All of them are very cooperative and ready to help the students in any kind of situations. Sometimes, no regular lectures are conducted because there is strictness by the faculty.
Other: There were no extracurricular events held in three years of mine. Only, Shivjayanti was celebrated that too by the students' contribution.
