Faculty members are excellent, and the college is valuable for money.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. In the year 2012-2016, almost 90% of the students got on-campus placements. Infosys and Wipro are the highest recruiters. In the year 2017, the placement condition in other BPUT colleges was very weak. In such conditions also, SIT managed to bring in a good number of companies and startups.

It is a highly recommended private college if you are really interested in pursuing engineering.

Placements: The main problem with placements here is you don't get your course-related placements. If you pursue the electrical and electronics course for 4 years, you have to attend placements in IT companies like Infosys, Wipro, Mindtree, etc. Internship offers were provided during our tenure by our college, and even you can do an internship through your own references. Overall, around 80% of the students get placements.

Placements: In the last session, i.e., from the 2015 batch, about 50% of the students got placed. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 8 LPA. It is not too good with respect to other colleges in Bhubaneswar like KIIT, ITER, etc., where approximately 80% of the students get placed. It is small but beautiful campus with decent placements and academics.

Placements: Mostly the companies are from IT background. The mass recruiters of our college are Wipro and Infosys. Even a lot of placement opportunities will be available. Need not worry, give much more emphasis on developing skills and enhancing them. Almost all the students from our batch got placed. Do not have any backlogs, or else you won't be permitted to sit in few companies in the college. Poor placement cell doing injustice to the diligent faculty members and students.

Placements: Around 20% of the students placed, resulting in mass migration to Bangalore QSpider. I think Silicon Institute should have a tie-up with the Spider group with a discount, given the amount of student it provides. Other than that, faculty members are pretty good and strict. The examination conducted with utmost strictness making us feel like we appear some IAS entrance.

Placements: Silicon has a good placement scenario in the past recent years, but it was the worst for our batch of 2014-18. Companies that visited our campus were not that good, and students also were provided with profiles like BPO. Companies like Wipro, Infosys visited our campus for recruitment.
