It is one of the best self-financing engineering colleges.
Placements: The college was able to offer a large number of placements opportunities to the students. Few of our batchmates received pre-placements offers during the college internships program. A lot of companies visit the campus for conducting placements activities. Major reputed companies visiting the campus of placements activities include Wipro, TCS, Infosys, etc. The highest salary package offered was around 55 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 6 LPA. Almost more than 60 companies participate in the college placements drive. The college had a very good internships program. Students can opt for internships after completing the first year of the program if anyone busy in any kind of research activity can skip the internship by providing the relevant documents to the placements committed. More than 50% of students were placed from this college.
Infrastructure: The campus of this college was good. The college provides facilities like a big library and cafeteria. The food in the cafeteria was good. Big conference calls, auditoriums, etc., were provided. The classrooms had modern fitting arrangements. The classroom was well equipped with a slide projector screen and recording equipment to record the teacher's lecture. The college follows a ragging policy. The college had a good hostel facility with half attached washrooms that were clean. The hostel food was good and the menu keeps on changing at regular intervals. It provides 24X7 water, the power supply was also available. The college provides medical facilities to all students at any time in college. The college promotes different kinds of sports such as basketball, cricket, football, etc. Many extracurricular activities such as NSD Jesus Youth, etc., functions in the college. Free Wi-Fi was available for all the students on the campus.
Faculty: The curriculum of this college was not only the latest but it matches the national standards. The curriculum provides complete knowledge on data analytics and graph, empirical research, economics, and many more. The curriculum was a combination of Engineering and management knowledge. The faculty members were also experts. I did not expect the faculty to be good as the college was new, but the faculty members not only had Ph.D. standards but they had very good industrial exposure which was very helpful for students. All the faculty members were very supportive. The college conducts two series of exams during each semester. The average pass percentage of this college was 60%.
Other: The campus life at SJCET was very enjoyable in the memories of my experiences. The sports and recreational facilities at the campus were what made the experience was studying. The campus was very big and well-equipped classrooms, library, workshops, conference rooms, and a cafeteria were provided. Students had several clubs and societies to brush up on our inner creativity outside the engineering world. This involved the art and craft club, the literature club, sports club, poetry club, economics club. Not only that students indulged in productive seminars like HSS department colloquium, fairness in machine learning, etc. Students even had good cultural events like Asthra, Saragam, etc.

College with an astonishing Infrastructure and Academics.
Placements: The placement pools were active at our times common polls were open and we need to write exams and need to apply for the jobs. The campus recruitment packages are really good for IT sector and for the other branches no such opportunities are available. The college has a good placement percentage with more than 60% students getting placement. Computer and Engineering branch have a huge placement percentage with more than 95% students getting placements. The average salary package offered for the students is around 3.6 LPA. IT sector provides the largest package of 6LPA. All major companies visit the college for placement like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Bosch, Coginizant etc. Major recruiter for EEE branch ids Bosch. The placement begins from the 7th semester itself and special trainings will be provided to students for facing interviews. College provides good internship opportunities and students get internships at leading companies like Wipro, Infosys etc. Almost 100% students get internships in various companies. Personally I Have opted for internship on Electrical Power Control and MEP at SIGMOS. So overall the college provide ample placement opportunities.
Infrastructure: The college has basically a beautiful environment such that majority of students fall in this college due to its beauty. It is an eco friendly college. It provides all the facilities to the students. The college have well occupied labs, classrooms and Library, separate gym for boys and girls, basketball court, Psychology labs, Cafeterias, Medical room for the emergences, college bus for travelling. The college canteen provides good quality food and safe & hygienic environment. Students can avail special medical consultation on every Wednesday from an experienced doctor. The college provides free Wi-Fi access to all the students. The classrooms are well maintained and well-equipped. Labs are spacious with all the facilities needed for the engineering students. In terms of Infrastructure it is one of the best colleges in Kerala.
Faculty: The course curriculum and exam structure is relevant. Curriculum provides with brief knowledge about our opted course and make us an expert in those. They train in almost every areas of expertise. Wide no of companies usually come for recruitment. The college has all sorts of labs and Hi-Tech facilities. All the faculty members have their post-graduation and some have Ph.D. The series exam is conducted regularly every two month and the question paper is moderate. Internal exams have pass percentage of about 90% and semester exams have pass percentage of about 75%. Internal examination question paper is moderate and can pass he exam with average studying.
Other: College have Tec fests, Cultural festival, voice hunt, Jesus Youth. The college library is vast and has all kinds of scientific texts and have many paid licenses for student access. The college conduct annual sports meets, intercollege meets etc. The college campus is well maintained and is plastic free campus. College promotes extracurricular activities like sports, arts etc. The college is well connected to the nearest town and adequate transportation facilities are available from the campus. The college conduct the tech fest ASTHRA every year. However a bit improvement is needed in terms of extracurricular activities provided by the college. Personally I have chosen this college because of the placeme3nt opportunities and beautiful surroundings College have special wings for promoting and supporting startups. IEEE society if the college is very active. So the college provides great opportunities in this regard.

College life and environment were awesome.
Placements: Around 70% of our senior batch students were placed in many companies like Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra, etc., and about 60% of our batch students got placed from both on-campus and off-campus placements. There is a placement cell in our college, which helps students to get placements.
Infrastructure: There is a very big library in our college, which includes journals and academic-related textbooks. Classrooms and labs are very good. There are two canteens and one cafeteria on our campus. The canteen is a great place to hang out with friends, and food served in it is hygienic.
Faculty: Our teachers are qualified, friendly, understanding, helpful, and some of them are excellent. We had 2 industrial visits during our course, which helped us to gain practical knowledge related to our studies. The student to teacher ratio is almost balanced.
Other: The college conducts technical fest called Asthra, and arts fest called Sargam. Once in every four years, they also host the main tech fest, called Cynosure. Along with these, there are project presentations and seminars, which are conducted once in a while. Apart from academics, we have a sports day, which is held every year.

A good place to work hard and reach top.
Placements: The placement cell of the college works well, and they provide placement assistance as well as training to students. Nearly 350 students are placed in every year. Most of the companies that come for recruitments are IT companies, so the placement chances for students of ECE and CSE has a better chance. For CE and ME, very few companies are used to visit for recruitment.
Infrastructure: The college has an environment-friendly atmosphere spread over 100-acres. The classrooms are well-built. Labs are well-maintained. The library is one of the best in our state. There are medical facilities available on the campus. Volleyball court, badminton court, cricket pitch, and football grounds are there on the campus.
Faculty: The college has a friendly and helpful faculty. The course curriculum is strict. Priority is always given to the studies and bookish knowledge. The lab and technical aspects always come second which is a major backdrop. The internships are during the semester breaks, anyway, college doesn't provide much assistance towards internships, except during the first year.
Other: Overall, it is a good atmosphere to study. All type of technical ventures and startups are supported and also funded by the college. There is a boot camp for entrepreneurship development. Management and faculty also help in project development through funding and providing with required technologies. If you are interested in extracurricular activities like arts and sports, this isn't the place for you.
