Placements: PDPU easily qualifies as one of the fastest growing colleges regarding the placements in Gujarat as well as India. ONGC recruited almost 40 students in the past two years at an overall package of almost Rs. 5 crores which are a true epitome of it. Along with the companies about all the various fields of the oil and gas conundrum, there is a high reverence for PDPU when it comes to hiring the new employees. Apart from the companies such as Oil India Limited, Reliance, MGL, Infosys, Adani, Future ...
Placements: The placements in chemical engineering department were at the peak this year. The highest package being 8 LPA given by Honeywell, which is a highly reputed company to start a career with. 90% of the students who were eligible to sit in the interviews were placed. The training and placement cell of the college works really hard to maintain this percentage.
Placements: Placements, well, they are a headache in every stream, including MBA. But there's not one college which is not IIT, NIT, DCE, IIM, IIFT or FMS, etc. where you get those big bucks. When you compare PDPU with the colleges it's competing with and being so young, it has far more pros than cons. The oil and gas market is down so the companies have not been visiting but then that's the case with UPES and other colleges too.
Placements: The placements were very good for the seniors. It was about 81% placement. But now, due to demonetization, the placement is a bit less than the previous year. But overall it is much better. Many petroleum companies do visit the campus and the college also calls many companies for the placement. There are other branches in PDPU whose placements are also good.
Placements: Placements in PDPU varies from branch to branch. Petroleum Placements: 1.) Well known public sector and private sector industries like ONGC, OIL, OPAL, Adani, and few non-technical companies like Infosys, Meditab and few more showed interest in recruiting students from both streams of School of Petroleum namely, upstream and downstream. 2.) The highest package was offered by ONGC, i.e., 14.45 lakhs PA. 3.) More than 65% of the students have been placed this year, and placements are still going...
Placements: 100% of students get placed every time in CS and ICT I don't know more about any other branch. But mostly student gets placement in good companies. Average placement in CS and ICT is about 7-9LPA Good students are also getting abow 10LPA as their starting packages.
Placements: There are the best placements here. There are on-campus as well as off-campus placements. For placements, we get trained from the 3rd year, so by the time of the 4th year, we are well trained. About 99% of students get placed. Many students get more than one job offer. The lowest salary package offered to us is 5 LPA.
Placements: I am passing out in the 2023 batch. I am a good student but the cutoff of placement is very low. You always have to work extra hard to get placement. It's not easy you know it's always difficult as the level goes up. And placement is almost 30% to 50% every year.
Placements: School of Petroleum Technology, known as SPT, is part of PDPU in Gandhinagar. It has a very good placement history. It offers courses on technological requirements of the oil and gas industry and also refineries. ONGC offers a package of 20 LPA. Many companies come to the PDPU campus for placements.
Placements: Last year around 60% students were placed in companies like ONGC, British Shell, Schlumberger, Reliance, Gujarat Gas, Adani Gas, Exxon Mobile etc. The highest package was 20 Lac given by ONGC and the lowest was 3 lac. The average package is around 6-7 Lacs in Petroleum Branch. Most of the students do their internships under ONGC while those who are interested in Downstream goes to Reliance, Adani, Gujarat Gas etc. In this year 5 students got internship in Shell, Chennai. And companies like Schlu...
Placements: It is a very good college. Every national and international company visit our college, and they hire our college students. In the previous year, ONGC visited the campus and hired 18 students. Please improve your communication skills so you can get a good placement in a good company.
Placements: I completed my B.Tech in electrical engineering in this college and I got placed in torrent power but I also cleared my GATE exam so I joined M.Tech in the same. The average salary package offered ranges from 4 LPA - 5 LPA. Even in M.Tech here students were also getting very high salary packages in industry.
Placements: It has a good and efficient placement cell. Average placement of the field is about 80%. Best of the petroleum companies in India visit here for campus placement. The highest package here this year is of 18 Lacs. Jobs in various departments like cementing, drilling, etc. Are offered.
