Review of Sree Rama Engineering College.

Placements: Almost all our college seniors got placed in many MNCs with very high packages. The lowest package offered is 4 LPA, and the highest package offered is 13.5 LPA. All our seniors got placed in Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore etc. Our college recruiters are Capgemini, HCL etc.

Infrastructure: The facilities in our college are good. But washrooms are not good as they stink. Wi-Fi is available in our college and also canteen. My friends and I use Wi-Fi during lunch break.

Faculty: Exams are conducted every week and strictly. CCTV cameras are also installed to monitor exams and also classes. Faculty members are well-qualified such as M.Tech, MBA, M.Sc. etc. All the faculty members are good and have good teaching skills.

Placements: Mostly 25% of the students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. Top recruitment companies of our course are Capgemini, Wipro, etc. More than 70 companies visit the campus for recruitment.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for our course are good. Our college provides good labs. I am a day scholar. The food available in the mess is good.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and highly qualified, and their knowledge of a particular subject helps us to gain good knowledge. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is perfectly relevant. Many industries are ready to hire students. Staff members are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

The management need to be improved here.

Placements: Many companies visited our college and hired only a few students. The highest salary package offered is 9 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. Cognizant and TCS are the top recruiters of our course. The top roles are offered in the software field. The salary package offered in our course varies from 1.8 LPA to 4 LPA. Many students got internships based on their interests. I joined as a software developer in PHP.

Infrastructure: Labs are well-equipped, but somehow they were not working properly during my tenure. Right now, they might be updated. Classrooms are good, but in our department, faculty members are not that much professional in the subject. I stay in outside hostels, but I heard that the food served in the hostel is good.

Faculty: Many teachers here are from M.Tech background, which is not enough to teach for engineering students. They should have a PhD degree in their domain. However, the teaching content and quality are good. They train you for placements from the 4th year. So you can prepare well and crack the interviews easily.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty and placements.

Placements: There almost 30 % of people are placed in different companies, the highest package is 4.5 LPA and the lowest package is 1.7 LPA. Top MNC companies like IBM and TCS, Emphasis. The company had offered software engineers roles to everyone. And few persons got an internship from top companies like ADP.

Infrastructure: The entire campus has 30 acres and they offered a lot of courses like ECE, CSE, IT, EEE and Civil. The facilities were very good for all the departments specially designed labs for the ECE department and also practical knowledge about the environment. They also provide a hostel for students.

Faculty: I belong to the ECE department and the faculty members are very helpful and knowledgeable persons. Most of the staff are qualified in GATE and M.Tech. Few teachers are very good at their subject areas to understand the importance of practical knowledge because most of the students got selected.

Averagely satisfied because of good faculty, not more placements in 2015.

Placements: 10% of students were placed in placements on my course. The highest salary offered was 5 Lacs and the lowest is 2 Lacs. The top recruiting companies on my course were participated was Tech Mahindra, LG, ADP, Emphasis. The most companies offered the role of Software Engineer.

Infrastructure: The facilities available on the college is Labs, Library, New equipments on Laboratories were good and classrooms are good. The classrooms were protected with CC TV cameras. The college provides the hostel, canteen, medicines, games like cricket, volleyball etc. , .

Faculty: In my college the some Lecturers were good and some of them are more knowledgeable on subject wise and other technologies wise and curricular activities. The faculty members are more helpful for students and they are having friendliness with students and more interaction.

Other: My course was Electronics and Communication Engineering. The best things in my course is to learn both software and hardware subjects. From the software perspective the technologies wise subjects and the hardware perspective learn the Electronics and electrical subjects.
