Placements: The placement was not good at all. Only B.Com students got placement. 50 percent students got placements in our college. The highest salary was Rs. 300000/annum, the lowest salary was Rs. 100000/annum, and the average was Rs. 200000/annum. Companies that visited the campus were E&Y, Deloitte, etc.
Placements: Placements were around 70 percent. A few of the companies which came to the campus were Deloitte, KPMG, E&Y, Airtel. The average package was Rs. 3.5 lpa. Internship was compulsory but college did not provide any assistance for internships. Therefore, the students had to find internships on their own.
Placements: Being one of the most reputed colleges of Delhi university, the college holds an outstanding placement record in reputed companies. So the placement is not an issue once you get into this college. Packages offered to students are also very good at around 3-4 LPA after graduation. Internship opportunities are also available.
Placements: Being one of the most reputed colleges of Delhi University, the college holds an outstanding placement record of 100% in reputed companies, so placement is not an issue once you get into this college. It can get you the best of placements and it has a low fee which becomes the best part for the students.
Placements: The college doesn't provide any internship opportunities but it has a well-functioning placement cell. Many companies come to the recruitment process and hire about 10-15% of the students. The average salary offered is of 3 LPA. In the senior batch also, about 20 percent of the students were placed.
Placements: The placements of the college are better than most of the Delhi University colleges. Many companies from various sectors come to the college for placements. They offer an average package of Rs. 3 lacs. As it is a graduate course, not many students get placed.
Placements: The placements of the college are decent. Many big reputed companies come for campus hiring. The average salary offered is 3-3.5 lacs. The college doesn't offer any internships to the students as it is not mandatory. Only 10-20 percent of the students got placed.
Placements: There are no such great placements offered as it is a graduation course but many companies do come for campus hiring like KPMG. There is a proper placement committee in the college that looks after the placement process and placement is done through assessment tests, group discussions and personal interviews. The average package is of 3 LPA.
Placements: Various firms visit the college which includes the Big Four like KPMG and EY. RBS is one of the mass recruiters, giving jobs to around 40 students every year. Genpact also hires 10-15 students every year. The average package is between 2 lakhs to 3 lakhs p.a. The placement cell is very active and helpful, right from helping you make the right CV to helping with the interviews.
Placements: The placements of our college are generally good. But if I compare it to other colleges of North Campus (Delhi University), it fades out a bit, because the best companies go to North Campus first. They give out the best packages and the best jobs to the students of North Campus. The average package is around 8-10 lacs, whereas in SGGSCC, the Big Four Accounting Firms(EY, KPMG, DELOITTE, PWC) come to recruit the students. The package they offer starts from around 3.25 lacs which goes up to a maxi...
Placements: The placements of the college are very good. The placement cell of the college is very active and ensures that companies with good reputation keep visiting the college. The highest package is around Rs 3.6 lakhs and the average is around 2 lakhs per annum. The roles offered to the students are in the field of sales and marketing. Basically, there is adequate opportunity to learn and make your career if you study in this college. Students are also offered internships from the college but many of ...
Placements: The placements for our course are quite good. Many companies which came for recruitment are KPMG, RBS, E&Y, and many other BPOs. The average package was around 280000 p.a. And the job offered was of audit associates.
Placements: I am a third-year student pursuing BA (H) Economics from SGGSCC, DU. Students as like other colleges face the pressure of getting into one of the best companies, but companies generally hire students who pursue BCom (H) or BCom pass but as an economics student, one faces difficulties in finding a good job. The salary offered is on an average 3 lakhs. KPMG and EY are some good companies which visit the college.
Placements: GGS gives you lots and lots of opportunities for getting yourself placed. Big companies like KPMG, PWC, etc. visit our college for campus recruitment. The highest package that was offered was 4.5 lakhs by Delloite. The average package goes around 3 lakhs. Around 60 to 70% of the batch gets placed every year from B.Com(Hons). The student to faculty ratio is around 10:1. Companies also come for providing internship opportunity to the students of GGS and around 60% get an internship from the colleg...
Placements: If you are lucky enough to get BCom Hons in this college, don't even hesitate for a second. The placements are absolutely amazing for students pursuing this course, unlike the other courses. Big 4 companies come to the campus every year for hiring BCom students. Other students are largely at the mercy of the placement cell and their fate majorly depends on their luck. Summing it up, for BCom, the placements are great, for other courses, you better have other plans after the college. ...
Placements: Placements for this course are very less in all the Delhi University colleges. You can go for off-campus but on-campus selections are very, very less. After masters in economics or MBA, you would surely get one. Placements in other courses are good. Many good and big companies come every year providing jobs in various fields.
Placements: In terms of placement, the college placement cell did a poor job. From our batch, hardly 10 or 11 students got placed. Only Sopra Steria and SAP Labs were the major software giants who offered jobs, and both of them were off-campus (but in reference with the placement cell). Because the college is famous for B.Com and economic courses, hardly any focus is provided to B.Sc and bB.Tech students.
Placements: The placements are average, just like the institution. It is likely that you will get placed but the packages are not great. The placement co-ordinator is more focussed on getting mass hiring companies in placements rather than companies who pay more. As for the junior students, earlier there was a lack of internship opportunities but now the P-cell is trying to attract companies which could offer internships for the second-year students.
Placements: Placement opportunities are very good at the college. Different companies of different background/operations are invited every year for placements. Companies like Aon, Deloitte and Wipro visited our college last year and I got selected for Aon. I am currently working with Aon only.
Placements: The placements were quite good for our senior batch. Some of the companies were like Delloite, KPMG, E&Y, PWC, Airtel, RBS, Zomato, Genpact, VMOCK, etc. making an average of 3.35 lacs, the highest of 7.2 lacs and the lowest of 2.80 lacs. Some of the roles were like tax associate, associates for their assurance department, audit analyst, business development executive, etc. About 136 offers were made this year in our college (for B.Com.H) Talking about internships, our college has linked with the...
