Placements: Placements are good enough for the college but not as per the standards for BBE since it is a new course and the job market doesn't know much about it. So we lack a bit in placements. We don't have bigger companies coming for the placements but we are able to tap packages worth Rs. 6-7 Lacs for the placements even from the small companies.
Placements: The placements from the last year have been facing lots of difficulties due to inadequate staff support, and they are bringing KPMG and EY like companies. Employment offer has been for just a few seats with this low number of good companies. The other problem is differences in salary offered for the same post in different colleges which is less amount offered in our college. If we count the batchmates got placed this year is approximately 20 out of 120 till now on a good post, and this statistic...
Placements: Though the college did not yet provide placements in the science section, it does provide them in commerce department. There are not many placements in commerce department too, but something's better than nothing. There is no any placement cell yet, and the placement is not confirmed even in commerce department.
Placements: B.Sc (Hons.) in chemistry alone doesn't provide you direct placement. Most of the students either go for higher studies or civil service entrance examination. There are basically two main exams after the course of higher studies; they are IIT JAM and TIFR. Rest of the exams are for DU, HCU, PU and BHU.
Placements: The first batch of our course is in training now, and after the training of 6 months, they'll get their jobs. But in the last one and a half year, I didn't see any placement campus. There is only one company who came for interviews. It was jet Airways that too for BPO jobs.
Placements: As per the placement is a concern, there are no such placements for the science graduates, but the students can go for the different internships and workshops. As per the commerce graduates, the college is providing the placement and the internships in the different companies. Most of the students make the future in politics.
Placements: The placements were not good for my course, but the course of commerce had a really great placement oppurtunities. My friends in B.Com honours and economics honours were placed in well-reputed companies at the time of placement. A placement cell is also established in our college for any information.
Placements: A number of companies came with good packages. Companies like EY, KPMG, Corporate Shiksha, etc. came. EY took max no. of students i.e. 20 and the rest took a few people but okay packages. Students too got through walk-ins in these companies itself so a good scope to have in the future.
Placements: Khalsa college has the best placements opportunities and is all about a complete package of education and career. The percentage criteria for appearing the interviews conducted by the college is good. The faculty of every department is at its best quality. The seniors are getting good packages, which motivate the juniors to work hard and pay more attention towards their studies. The faculty help the students in their academic field, and big MNCs visit the college for the placement.
Placements: The placements provided by our college are not much satisfactory. Our college doesn't offer many placements. They need to be improved, but the placement cell works hard to get placements for students. The placement cell needs to build a good network with the corporate world so that it can get better placements.
Placements: No placements for BSc(H) in physics were there in our college. There is little scope for science in India and companies generally look for engineers. But some students manage to get placed. The placements for commerce and arts courses are decent.
Placements: Every student got the chance to participate in the placements. The packages ranged from 1.8 LPA to 4 LPA for B.Com (Hons.) students. The roles mostly were related to business development or strategic analysis. There were companies from media, banks, consultancy companies, etc. Most companies had criteria regarding marks.
Placements: Placements were pretty fine in college. I got selected as an assurance associate at EY. Around 10-15 companies visited campus with around 5-6 being startups. The highest package was offered by BCG at 6 LPA and the lowest was offered by KPMG at 2.2.LPA. EY, KPMG, BCG, Axis Bank and Genpact are the most common recruiters.
Placements: Around 2-3 companies came to our college for various interesting jobs and internships. For instance, content writing, blogging, etc. Very few people got selected by the companies. Highest stipend offered was Rs. 15,000/month. The companies looked for young aspirants who were ready to take new experience and work in the business environment.
Placements: As it is a science graduation course, we were not offered any placement from our college or university. Placement as such is negligible in Delhi University for science graduated. If you are doing any commerce/ economics related course, then you can rely on the college for having the placement drives. But for the rest of the courses, there is no placement.
Placements: Placement was good and a good bulk of students were placed. I don't remember the highest package but average package was about 4.5 lakh per annum. Airtel was the only company that I remember. Around 40% got an internship from college. I don't remember the stipend.
Placements: The placements were quiet good. Around 50% students were placed. The companies visited includes EY, KPMG, etc. The basic roles offered were of auditors, trainee, etc. Our college never provided internship. I don't remember the highest and the lowest packages offered by the companies.
Khalsa College has a very nice infrastructure and crowd. The environment is very healthy. The facilities provided are great for students. It has a very big ground with a sports complex. The college needs to focus more on extracurricular activities. The fest is also organized in a very good manner.
SGTB Khalsa College is one of the best colleges of DU. Talking about infrastructure, the college has a huge ground with a tennis court and a gym. Many rooms have AC also. The faculty of the college is very good and very supportive. One point which I personally feel is lacking is that the placements are not too good as compared to other campus colleges.
It’s one of the best college in this area which is providing best place of education to students. Almost all Courses are provided to students here. Seniors are supportive and thus there's no ragging. Average packages are around Rs 10 lakhs p.a. and go up to Rs 16 lakhs. Campus has a big playground to play and a rich library. It also has a well maintained canteen and so many another facilities are also available.
