My college review at SKCT.
Placements: In our department, total strength is 50 students. During the 7th semester, our placement session started. The highest salary package our department offers is 12 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 5 LPA. The lower salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Cognizant, Hexaware, L&T, Mindtree, Bosch, Wipro, and Accenture. Currently, we are in the 8th semester, and around 30% of students got placed. Roles offered are data Analyst and junior software developer.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure and location are very good and beautiful. Wi-Fi facilities are available in all areas of the campus. College classrooms have smart boards. College food is average. Only vegetarian food is available in hostel if we need non-vegetarian we have to buy from outside of the college hostel gate. Sports activities are a little bit average in our college.
Faculty: College faculty members are very friendly and good. Many faculty members completed their Ph.D. degrees with good knowledge. Our regular course curriculum is a little bit different and tough. Software-based papers are included. This paper affects our department's core papers.
Other: College fest Avanta is conducted yearly in March.

Partially satisfied because the student can learn more than academics.
Placements: About 30 to 70 percent of students are placed. It changes due to recession. Average packages range from 3.5 lakh to 4 lakh. CSE, ECE, and their clusters are top recruiting courses. At maximum, many get internships if they work on the path they choose. In my course, Associate Engineer and Assistant Managers are top roles.
Infrastructure: In our department, the electronics labs are in decent condition, and the electrical lab is also decent, but old devices are used. There are some poor internet connections available. Library facilities are available. The hostel is not good enough compared to its fees.
Faculty: Teachers are well-knowledgeable, but they are not good enough to teach. Some professors are good at teaching both life skills and the syllabus. It is Electrical and Electronics Engineering, but the curriculum is mostly focused on Computer Science and its clusters.

Our college has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Around 90% of students are placed in our college for each batch. Top recruiting companies are Zoho, TCS, etc. Along with studies, they motivate you to set your goals and follow your passion. There are a lot of top companies, like Accenture, Amazon, Zoho, Virtusa, CTS, TCS, Freshworks, Astra Zenca, Wipro, Capgemini, LTI, L&T Tech Services, Ford, Bosch, etc., that visit this campus every year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in SKCT is marvelous. Sri Krishna College of Technology is the best college to develop your personality and skills through the various learning platforms provided by the college. If you are good at sports, you are always encouraged to participate in various indoor and outdoor competitions. If you are good at your speaking skills, you are welcome to talk in front of your classmates, as SKCT provides students with the opportunity to develop their vocabulary and speaking skills with the help of SNAP talk. One can enhance their learning through practice, and SKCT always welcomes you to participate in various kinds of hackathons, symposiums, and other competitions. It is a good place to learn and grow, with excellent infrastructure facilities ranging from free 24X7 Wi-Fi to COE labs.
Faculty: Our teachers in SKCT are qualified and knowledgeable. Students score more than 80%. Looking into college infrastructure, SKCT has its own remarks.

I am completely satisfied with our college.
Placements: Placement opportunities given by our college to students are good. Almost 98% of the students got placed in our department. The highest salary offered is Rs. 38,000 per month, the average salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 12,000 per month. Many MNCs visited our college campus, and company-specific training is also given to students.
Infrastructure: Our college has a good infrastructure. It is in the main place of the city on the main road. All the bus stops are in front of the college. The college has all facilities like playground, gym, free Wi-Fi campus, well-developed and digital labs, well-conditioned projector enabled classrooms, very big and digital library, 24x7 medical facilities, well-trained physical education and food court. Labs are digital and well-developed.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-trained and well-knowledgeable in their domain, and way of teaching is also clear and easily understandable for students. They provide all the materials, PPTs and conduct an assessment with both practical and theoretical wise. Beyond the curriculum, extracurricular activities and co-curricular activities are taught by staff members, and they are very useful for us.
Other: Fests and events conducted here are fabulous.

Our college has a good infrastructure and nice environment.
Placements: Nearly 90% of the students get placements from our course. Turbo Energy, Hexaware and MulticoreWare are the top recruiting companies for our course. Internships are based on the student's involvement and their interests, and some companies, including above-mentioned companies, offer internships here.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available all over the campus. Labs, classrooms and library are maintained well and well facilitated. Hostels are provided with a Wi-Fi facility and 4 sharing rooms with 1 cot and 1 cupboard per student. The food served in the mess is not bad, but only vegetarian food is served. Canteens provide both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, and its taste is also delicious. The medical facility is available 24x7, and an ambulance is available for emergency. Sports and games facilities can be utilised after 5 pm during working days and whole day on weekends.
Faculty: Teachers here are well qualified and help students in all aspects and share their knowledge in needed times. They also provide ideas in events like Hackathon, Ideathon, etc., and they expect punctuality. Their teaching quality is perfect and good. The course curriculum is relevant and also makes students industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am eager to work with electricity and circuits. I wish that practical experiments can be conducted to explain subjects rather than teaching the theory part. Mini events are organised by students every day, and extracurricular activities are also conducted during functions. The campus provides a pleasant and lush green environment as it is near to the mountains.

Q:   Is Sri Krishna College of Technology Tier 1 or Tier 2?

A:

Sri Krishna College of Technology is in general Tier 2 in Indian engineering college ranking. Though it is producing quality engineers, the reputation of this college is good in Tamil Nadu, particularly for specific engineering streams, and does not usually stand in line with the elite Tier 1 ones like IITs or NITs. Nonetheless, technical education has benefited from it immensely and it commands very good placement records and facilities; of course, its popularity to destination students in the region for engineering degrees.
