Review of Sri Manakula Vinayagar Engineering College - SMVEC.
Placements: Placements are excellent. I got placement offers in four companies. Many companies visit our college to conduct placements, and many students get placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is excellent. The buildings present on the campus is nice. Wi-Fi facilities are also available. The labs are available. Classrooms are good. The library is very good in condition.
Faculty: The teachers are very good, and they are highly talented. Many teachers are PhD holders. The staff are very talented. The teaching quality is very good. The teaching methods used in our college are very good. I got good industrial exposure.

You can just get a degree.
Placements: There will be placements. But I did not attend the placement training but they have put my pic has placed in a random company to show there is like 99% placement. Fake placements, this is a very the worst college, but they will show them as they are the best in Pondicherry, better to study in government colleges instead of this sht.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is there but the staffs are not good they will give priority to some students and will be very arrogant for me there are like 6 staffs in that six four of them are arrogant and two of them can't wven teach properly. Hostel is also average. I am not hosteller but I have visited and ate food there.
Faculty: The teachers are not helpful only like one in five staffs are qualified and knowledgeable. This course did not make students industry ready. Most of them got placed in IT companies. The exams are not that difficult. You have to prepare everything by yourself the staff will not help you and if you raise any queries to head of the department they will take tier revenge by lowering your internal marks and also lowering your subject marks. The same thing happened to me even I studied hard and wrote correct answers to each and every questions I will get like D grade.

It is a top-1 college in Pondicherry and good for placements.
Placements: Placements were very good in our college. Many top companies offered placement opportunities. TCS in Chennai offered placements with a salary package of 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was the best. Hostel was good and the rooms were very good but the food served was not good. Hostel served both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food items.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were well trained and conducted many tests to improve students' knowledge to score well easily.
Other: I chose this course because my father is in construction work so I want to help him. The NCC program was held on the weekend and they cleaned our college as a part of NCC. Bus facility was provided to students coming from far away places.
