I am not satisfied with this college because of the lack of programs.
Placements: There are around 40% of students in computer science and engineering. CSE course helps to find work in IT-related companies around the world. The college tuition fee is around Rs.80,000 per annum. Top recruiting companies include IBM, Byju's, and other top companies .
Infrastructure: Our college doesn't have Wi-Fi and classrooms. The canteen is shutdown for some reason. There are labs for our department of which the computer lab is good with Wi-Fi and air conditioning facilities. The other labs aren't much good. There is no importance for sports in this college which is disappointing.
Faculty: Teachers in this college are highly qualified but they teach us in their Mother tongue that is Tamil language, which is not a professional way of communication in an engineering college. Students not from Kerala find it difficult to understand Tamil and thereby not understanding the classes.

Review of Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Above 60% of students had placements in the computer science department. Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTS), Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) off-campus, Dev Care solutions, and some of the banks were the top recruiting companies. The top recruitment company is CTS only. The internship was based on our interests. No arrears is a must.
Infrastructure: Hostel foods were average in our college and they encouraged the people who are interested to get involved in sports. The cultural events conducted were superb. For the library, all books were available but students mostly preferred teachers' notes.
Faculty: Teaching will be good at Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering and Technology and the staff members were more friendly with the students. Our exam results were based on internal marks too. So internal exams were more important for semester. During the semester exam, if we face tough question papers, these internal marks help the students.
Other: I chose this course to get a job and work in the IT field. So many of the students had a dream while doing engineering college.

The college has good placements, highly qualified and helpful faculty members.
Placements: According to me, the principal should be appreciated for working hard to bring in companies to provide placements for students. The placements have been improved a lot compared to the previous years. The highest package offered was 7 LPA by Byju's and 5 LPA by Societe General. Many BPO companies also visit the campus. Most of the companies are from Chennai, Coimbatore and Madras. The placements for mechanical students are low.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average. BME and CSE departments have separate RND labs which are used only for projects. There are other labs as well. ECE department has a separate block with labs. The machines in labs are too old including mechanical labs.
Faculty: The college has many senior professors with great experience. But most of the time, the subjects are taken up by new staff so that they can also improve their teaching experience. The senior staff are assigned if new staff members fail to bring good results in the core subjects.

Satisfied, worthy with the colleges among other colleges in Puducherry.
Placements: They will provide placement to all, but we can't expect high pay companies, they place at some moderate companies, but this year placement cell works great to invite new companies, they are giving support to place students in off-campus interviews too.
Infrastructure: Labs are highly technologies with high-speed internet, sports activities were not much comprising, classrooms were moderate, food quality is not that much good in canteen, other snacks and juices will be good, but there is no place to play any games because no grounds are available.
Faculty: Half of the teachers were highly knowledgeable but some were beginners, teaching quality was really good as most of the faculty members orient the theory with the lab and practical learning is enhanced too, student to faculty ratio will be 1 : 40, yea we get industry exposure as our administration give full supports to internships.
Other: This year they introduced new academic system of 4 days regular classes and 2 days club activities with total of 16 clubs.

I am enjoying my life in the college with no strict rules. One can feel a real college atmosphere.
Placements: The college has a nice placement, and recently we have got a NAAC accreditation with an A grade hoping that more companies will come in the near future. The internships were arranged periodically. Particularly, the CSE department is well functioned by conducting more workshops and symposium each year.
Infrastructure: The college has a nice infrastructure, but no Wi-Fi facility, but there is only an internet access in the library and CSE labs. The sports and the medical facilities are also good enough. Our sister institution is also providing medical support, and it is near to us. So we get a prompt medical support in case of an emergency.
Faculty: The faculty of the were helpful, but some are not very dedicated towards the subject. Some are really talented and helpful. A special person to mention in the college is the CSE Hod, who is very helpful both personally and academically. Then there is the principal who motivates the students and gives motivational speech occasionally.
Other: Overall, it is a nice college, but yet to develop in some aspects. These include providing WiFi and good food at the canteen. Sometimes while the raining water stagnation is a problem, it should still be looked into. Overall, the college is a very nice place to foster knowledge. The practical approach helps one gain knowledge.
