One of the Best institution for placements in Coimbatore.
Placements: SREC offers slightly above average placements, with above 70% of students placed every year. Especially in CSE and IT, there are various IT placement opportunities. The highest salary offered last year was 15 LPA, and overall 27 LPA by Amazon, with the lowest salary being 3.5 LPA offered by Cognizant Technologies. Top companies recruiting from our college include Mahindra, Mercedes-Benz, HCL, Soliton, Amazon, ZOHO, and others. Here, 75% of students got internships in their 3rd year based on tier CGPA/GPA. By pursuing CSE or IT, you would be able to specialize in roles like Developer, Cybersecurity, UI/UX Designer, and more.
Infrastructure: In our department and in the library, Wi-Fi facility is good. Labs are not up to the mark compared to other institutions. Some labs are used only for accounting purposes. Classrooms are neat but not Hi-Fi. Hostel facilities are not well appreciated; the old building's toilets are Indian-style. There is an International Hostel available, but it costs 25% more than normal. The canteen, known as "FC" - Food Court, is truly good, price-efficient but lacking in variety. This college gives much importance to sports such as football, volleyball, etc. There is a Health Center at the end of the campus; a doctor is always available, making it reliable.
Faculty: Teachers of this institution are knowledgeable. There are some psycho staff, but most of them are well-qualified; more than 60% of them are Ph.D. holders, and some are pursuing it. The course curriculum is subjective based on your opinion because for our course, we face some issues, but other departments are good with these curricula. The difficulty of exams is average, not too hard or easy. The pass percentage is always above 75%.

Placements: We have plenty of placement and internship opportunities. Nearly 50+ companies approach our campus for student recruitment. Our students got placed with the highest salary package of 12.7 Lacs per annum, and the lowest salary package offered by recruiters is 3.1 Lacs.
Infrastructure: We have excellent infrastructure within the campus. There is a strict security system for the college and hostel. We maintain a very healthy and hygienic campus. All the seniors and juniors are very coordinated with us at all times, and they are also very friendly.
Faculty: The teachers are highly educated and experienced. They are kind, helpful, and treat everyone equally without any discrimination. We can't miss even a single session because of our strict teachers. Roughly, we have 4 to 5 classes in a day, and we also have a schedule for each and every day.

Everything is fine except the out-of-town bus facilities, infrastructure, and placement.
Placements: 80 percent of the students are getting placed, and the highest package is 24 LPA, the lowest package is 4 LPA, and the average package is 10 LPA. Swiggy, Zoho, Capgemini, and Delta. In Accenture, Zoho students got a 6-month internship and got an offer letter too. Overall, Coimbatore Engineering College, SREC, has the least feel, with an assured number of placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very simple, but the facilities have no compromises as they have clean drainage for both the college and hostel. Immediate action is taken if any issue is raised. Labs, classrooms, and libraries are fully ventilated and air-conditioned. Wi-Fi is available throughout the college and hostel. The food is fine, and the snacks provided there are healthy and hygiene-friendly. The college has a health centre with 3 nurses and 1 doctor. Ambulance is also available for the hostel students in case of any emergency at night.
Faculty: Faculty members are so friendly, helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is always in a practical mode. As a computer science student, I learned about databases, four languages, operating systems, and algorithms. It is not difficult, but the exams are quite different from school. For example, the question will be given in school, but at the college level, we should create a question. So that is quite a challenging part.
Other: As I'm a NEET aspirant, except for this, I had no knowledge at the last moment, so I chose this CSE. In CSE, there is an assured future for skilled students. It doesn't mean that other departments have no value, but up to me, CSE was good, and I chose it. The improvement is that there would have been a real-time application there. Club activities and department activities are conducted, and scholarships are provided. Extracurricular activities are encouraged.
