SRM School of Management Admission Overview 2026

SRM School of Management admisssion 2026 is open. Admission to the courses is entrance-based as well as merit-based, followed by a counselling round. Lovely days at my college.

Placements: The percentage of students placed is very vague, as a lot of students opt out of placements because of their CGPA, and they are not considered for placement. If you are an average student, you can get around 6 to 7 LPA if you maintain your CGPA. Companies like Wipro and L&T are the top recruiters. For internships, you have to secure them yourself, as the college gives almost zero support.

Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms are actually pretty good if you opt for CSE, as the new building TP 2 is highly advanced. The library is also pretty good, with a nighttime study facility. Hostels are expensive, and the hostel staff is pretty annoying. You have an appointment at 9 o’clock, so beware of that.

Faculty: Teachers try, but to be honest, for our course they are bad, actually pretty bad. The curriculum is good, and you can score decent marks if you prepare from the resources, as you will find a lot of resources to help you. Semester exams are actually pretty easy, but the issue is that you have exams throughout the year, so it is pretty exhausting. You have three cycle tests for each subject every semester. Then there is the final semester exam, which is only 40 marks. The remaining 60 marks come from internal and cycle tests.

It is a very good college to study in, and we can choose it without any confusion.

Placements: The placement rate is about 70% or above. Students are placed mainly in fields such as digital marketing and IT. Eligibility for placements is generally 75% or above with no arrears.

Infrastructure: The college has very good infrastructure. It includes classrooms, labs, and a library. Hostel is very clean. Food provided is good for consumption. The college is very supportive of sports. They gives extra care to sports activities..

Faculty: Teachers are very good at teaching and help students score good marks. The pass percentage requirement is above 35%. As a student at SRM, teachers help prepare students for the industry, as they are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Teachers also train students for campus placements and examinations. Teachers teach every topic clearly, which helps students score well in semester examinations. They also regularly train students for internships.

Other: The college organizes many events, with a strong focus on sports and the active engagement of all students.

My review of this college.

Placements: Placements are extremely good, and the experience is fantabulous. We have the chance of attending multiple campus interviews. If one gets selected in a company, they are not supposed to attend the next company. But we have been given multiple opportunities, and almost 80% of students get placed. There are about 60 companies that come to our campus and recruit around 200 students. The package on average is 3.5 LPA, and the highest package is 20 LPA. Companies come here for placement, such as TCS, Blue Dart, LIC, Amazon, Tata Consultancy Services, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, etc.

Infrastructure: The hostels are well-equipped with proper electricity, water supply, and great hygiene. The room sharing includes 3 members, and it helps in maintaining a cordial and friendly atmosphere. The mess food is also of good quality, and hygiene is prioritized as an important factor. There are two international hostels and more than 5 other hostels. In general, the rooms, food, and facilities are satisfactory.

Faculty: The faculty members are really great. They are very friendly and sensitive towards their students. They provide very nice, experienced, and talented professors for the course. I did not feel any discomfort while sharing my problems with my teachers, whether it is related to academics or some problems in my life. Their suggestion are the best. The exams are conducted once every semester, and before that, there are projects and assignments to be completed. Attendance is an issue here, you have to maintain a minimum of 60% attendance, or else you will be debarred from the examination. When it comes to the course curriculum, it is evenly divided into theory and practical sessions. For theory-related papers, the practical session will be of case discussion, which is an important part of the curriculum.

A pleasant experience at SRM, an overall wonderful journey.

Placements: About 80 percent of students have placed in my course. Moreover, in the last batch, the highest package received was 5 LPA. Many recruiters, such as TCS, Accenture, and others, come for placements. About 70% of students got placed well on campus. A manager-level course is offered.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good with many facilities: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library. Everything is organized in a well-structured manner. There are extracurricular activities, and medical emergency facilities are also available. The campus has a sports arena as well.

Faculty: All teachers are very helpful in communication, making the learning process smooth and efficient. The curriculum activities are excellent, and the semester exams are quite good enough to achieve maximum success.

Other: I chose this college because it has a high reputation and is known for good placement activities. There are also many extracurricular activities and events.

This college is the best place for pursuing the engineering course.

Placements: The SRM Institute of Science and Technology offers the placement to the students who fit in there placement criteria and even after fitting that criteria many students refuse the placement to pursue the higher studies and don't go to the placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the SRM Institute of Science and Technology is very good; almost all the classrooms on the campus are air conditioned and the facility of a library is available here, although the food in the canteen is not as good as expected .

Faculty: As I am pursuing Bachelor of business administration in the SRM institute of Science and Technology, here the faculty are very in teaching and the course is relevant to the curriculum. Semester exams are not really as tough as expected, and most of the students in here gets passed

My college life in a nutshell :).

Placements: Since we are the first batch, I do not know much about it, but the average package starts at 5–6 LPA for a BBA general. If you perform pretty well academically and have the skills needed, you can earn more. Around 90% of students always get placed.

Infrastructure: There's Wi-Fi always, the labs are well-equipped too, and the and the classrooms are okayish. I live in a PG, but according to my friend, the food in the hostel is the best, they have a wide range of varieties every day, and there's a huge scope for sports since they conduct many events.

Faculty: I'd say, It's pretty much different for each faculty; not everyone is as helpful, but in my experience, it was only a few teachers who were quite qualified; sometimes you'd get teachers who aren't interested at all; it has to do a lot with the attendance of the class too; less often they'd speak in their native language, which is Tamil; and since I hail from a state where we have our own language, I do face difficult understanding, but most of them are supportive of you and would love to help you.

Other: I chose this course particularly because it is a mix of the best of both the world's data science and business administration.
