Unhappy with the general upkeep of Hospitality Department.
Placements: We were not provided job placements through the college, even though we were promised about placements by the mid of third year. 2-3 higher education agencies did visit the college, but not for job placements. After completion of degree, we were asked to look for a job ourselves.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure here is pretty basic. Rooms don't have ACs or TVs, and the benches aren't well maintained. But the practical rooms like the kitchen, mock restaurant, and housekeeping room are decent. The food at the canteen is just average, and it is always paced, so most students preferred to grab lunch outside.
Faculty: The teachers kept changing every year. Only a handful of teachers sustained in the college. We started with great teachers in First Year. By the time we reached Third Year, most of the faculty was new and didn't know how to handle a class/teach the portion. I don't think we were industry ready by the end of third year. Most of it was self learning. Semesters were easy to crack.
Other: The Hospitality department of St. Andrew's is always neglected. All the attention and funding goes to the main college. Hospitality students feel like an add-on or an afterthought for the management.

It's a good college and you will enjoy it a lot.
Placements: I don't have any idea about the placement because of covid 19 there were online lectures. Now when I am in the second year we are having research and methodology instead of internships. The college is good but it can be better. I lik our college.
Infrastructure: The college has a huge ground and there is a basketball court. It is good has a lot of things to explore. It will be fun if there are gaming lectures where we can play football and all. The college infrastructure is quite huge and very good.
Faculty: Teachers here are very highly qualified, and they teach well. Teachers are very strict with exams, and the passing marks are 28 out of 80.
Other: There are many activities where you can give your name and do something in college. We have a notice board where all the notices are displayed.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic crisis, our placements got cancelled. We didn't get jobs until now.
Placements: In our college, all types of students are eligible to take admission. The highest salary package offered here is 3 LPA and above, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. JW Marriott, Oberoi, Taj and all 5-star hotels recruit students from our college. Associate manager and commis 2 are the top roles offered here.
Infrastructure: There is well and a huge amount of space for sports here. A huge library is available, which is well-equipped. Wi-Fi and projector facilities are available in our college. The quality of the food served is average and hygienic. Games and sports are very much played, and many events are organised.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful and good to us, but some of them are very disappointing for us. Teaching staff members are well trained, experienced and qualified. They are very much understandable to us. This course curriculum is relevant, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the world is facing a crisis.
Other: I chose this hotel industry because I am very much passionate about the kitchen and service line. I wish that our college should not change the staff members frequently because it will affect students' academic results.
