It is the best college in the entire North East.
Placements: My course is not available in the drop-down. Top recruiting companies like Tata Consultancy Services, Jio, Wipro, etc., visit our campus for placements. The starting salary offered to the students ranges from Rs. 15,000- 20,000 per month, and it depends on the position one is offered.
Infrastructure: The college provides spacious classrooms, with built-in amphitheatre which enables effective digital learning. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and it provides unlimited data. Students can access to a rich collection of books and online journals for all courses in the library. There is a hospital facility, 2 canteens, and a coffee shop which makes the campus rich in its infrastructure and facilities.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly-qualified and approachable. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students' industry-ready. It opens up multiple avenues for the students to choose from.

This college provides good placements.
Placements: Around 20% of students are placed. The top recruiting companies are Tata and Olx. Around 12% of students are placed in Tata Steels.
Infrastructure: It provides classrooms, a library, washrooms, and laboratories. The quality is good in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified in this college. It does make the study focus on the skills and experiences students gained from the major that is most related to the job. Even if a student's major is not directly related to the job, they can likely find connections between the two. For example, if students majored in English but are applying for a job as a paralegal, they might emphasize how to value the critical thinking skills they developed in the major and emphasize that these will be useful when researching a law office.
Other: It gives me greater knowledge about the subject.

The unbiased opinion of an Edmundian.
Placements: There are little to no placements, and they are not course-related, they seem random. Most placements are from banks like ICICI and Axis. It's mostly for clerk positions. The salary package is around 2 LPA, which is not much for the cost of living.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi, but we have nice labs. Classrooms are spacious. Hostel is very strict. We need to maintain a curfew at 6 PM. Mess is the best. Medical facilities are not that good. We can play football, basketball, volleyball and badminton.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, with doctorate degrees. They have years of teaching experience. It's one of the best colleges in Shillong. Semester exams are very tough and challenging for many students, leading to backlogs over the years. It is rather easy for those who are diligent in their studies.
Other: I chose this course because it's easy and one of the best subjects to choose from the arts stream. It has more fieldwork. We hold a college week once a year.

Absolutely satisfied with the college and it's facilities offered.
Placements: Around 20 percent of students were placed in my course. The highest package offered was 12 LPA, the lowest package offered was 2 LPA, and the average package offered was 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Bajaj and Vipro. Around 47 percent of students got internships from my course in companies in Vipro and Bajaj.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure facilities is well and good, there is a projector in classrooms, also, there are practical labs and library with more than 4000 journals 9 newspapers and magazines and in our college, there is a gym. The quality of food available in hostel is average but canteen offered delicious foods and there is also a medical room and many sports available like basketball, football, etc.
Faculty: The teachers of our college are highly qualified and knowledgeable and the teaching quality is excellent. And the course that I choose is most relevant and will make the students industry-ready. Semester exams are a little difficult but they can be cracked easily with study and the pass percentage is 76 percent.
Other: I chose the course because the course provides us practical knowledge and also helps us to learn from our surroundings. The things that I wish would be better in the course is that there should be more geographical tools for easy understanding. There are lots of events organised in our college like Christmas, freshmen, and many more. The campus crowd is higher because ours college is best in the state, The campus surroundings are clean and everything is well maintained, scholarships are also given to meritorious students and lastly, the management also focus on extracurricular activities like public speaking, etc.
