The board announced that the NCERT/CBSE syllabus will be followed for classes 11 and 12 for Physical Education, Psychology, and Sociology subjects from the academic session 2024-25. Board exams 2024 to be conducted twice a year, says MOE
The Ministry of Education (MoE) has announced that it will conduct Board exams twice a year from the session 2025-26 and students will be allowed to retain the best score. The New curriculum framework as per the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) is ready and textbooks will be developed for the 2024 academic session. It said that students of Class 11 and 12 need to study two languages, and at least one of them must be an Indian language. As per the updated curriculum framework, the choice of subjects in classes 11 and 12 will not be restricted to streams such as arts, science, and commerce to give students flexibility to choose.
