Overhyped college known for its leniency.
Placements: The issue with St. Joseph's is that it barely has proper placements for humanities. Recently, they've just started working on that. Usually, only commerce students get placements. Although they have started working on the placement system for arts, it's still not proper.
Infrastructure: We do have Wi-Fi, but it has restrictions on it. There are only limited sites which you can use the Wi-Fi to access. We also had jammers, which became an issue when we had some class material to download. We have lifts for the staff and disabled students. If anyone else wants to use the lift, apart from them, they have to have a written note with a proper reason.
Faculty: I do think that the faculty is very qualified, but it is still kind of lacking. The faculty is very friendly and helpful. Although the course material for sociology wasn't something you'd study at the college level, more like a school-level syllabus. So I think in that aspect they could've done better.
Other: I chose this course as it was a government-aided course which was cheaper compared to other courses, and my main focus was on economics, so I thought sociology would be a good option to go with it.
