Candidate must have passed 10+2 Examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry(PCM) as optional or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh, along with bridge course or courses conducted by it for candidates enrolled from academic year 2000-2002 onwards, or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. Candidate must have scored minimum mentioned marks in the subjects specified (PCM) taken together at 10+2 pattern. SMEC college's genuine review by a student.

Placements: Placements are great; the highest package this year is 52 LPA. Good placements and a training team are there. The lowest package would be near 3.5 LPA. I chose this college because of these placements. Software-developer roles are frequently recruited. More than 90 percent of students are placed there every year. The top recruiters are Microsoft, Amazon, Morgan Stanley, and many more. 100 percent of students are placed in our branch.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college will be green all over and spacious; the college looks very large. Classrooms are also well equipped, with LED screens and some with projectors. The labs are also well equipped; it looks like the best college. Sufficient labs are available. The canteen would be good, but the prices would be higher. I come from my house; it's nearly 5 km from my house.

Faculty: Faculty are well qualified, and all the activities in the classroom are conducted as per the norms. The faculty is also so helpful. Every faculty member strictly conducts seminars and other activities for every chapter. The course curriculum is well designed; for every semester, one programming language will be provided as the main course. The curriculum is designed in a way to ensure all-round development. Many additional trainings will also be given to students to make them industry-ready. This year's pass percentage has decreased, I think because of the COVID effect. But in all the previous years, there has been a good pass percentage above 65. Exams are medium-hard. It all depends on the individual.

Other: The fee structure will be more and an additional fee will also be collected for Blazers, NBA, and JNTU fees. On campus, many events are conducted. There are nearly 5,000 students in the college.
