Review of St Teresa's College.
Placements: There has been no placement from our batch. Placements have always been poor. But rest assured it's one of the best colleges in the district with the best faculty and infrastructure.
Infrastructure: The chemistry lab is beautiful, but there are limitations to the laboratory. There's no IR machine or facility to take a UV spectrum. Libraries are one of the best that I've seen in my academic life. I was a day scholar but I've heard the hostel life isn't that great at least in the science block.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and most of them have the teaching ability. The curriculum is course relevant. Semester exams are not the hardest, if put in a little effort and concentration we can get a good GPA. Internal exams are not that tough either.

Our college provides the best experience for students.
Placements: Around 100% of placements are provided in our college. Top recruiting companies are HDFC, Deloitte, and Sutherland. These companies recruit students through Internshala and LinkedIn platforms. Extra courses and internships are offered other than the main course.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and laboratories are well-equipped. Our college provides a clean atmosphere. The hostel provides good food and facilities. There is a huge library facility.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is highly graded. Exams are a bit difficult but not if students work hard.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in chemistry. Extracurricular activities such as sports, NCC, NSS, rotary club, etc., are provided. It is located in Ernakulam and NAAC A+ accredited women's college. It was established 100 years ago.

Master of Science in Chemistry 2023 batch at St Teresa's College.
Placements: It's a newly initiated course in our college so absolutely we have lesser chances for placements. We were able to work in medical fields too. I won't get any placement opportunities, but they helped us to know how to approach companies. I'm passionate about working as a lecturer so I joined this college as a lecturer with recommendations for my lectures.
Infrastructure: There is attractive infrastructure with all the required amenities. Mostly laboratories pave a major path in our department. All the required apparatus and equipment were bought twice a year. In laboratories, all the safety measures were followed by teachers and students.
Faculty: Most of the courses were not initiated but now a massive number of courses are approved and studied by students. Now I'm doing my masters in the Department of Chemistry. We have a supportive HOD. They always work in the favour of students.

One of the emerging colleges.
Placements: I got placed in Biogen as a laboratory research analyst with the initial payment of 35000 in a month. Companies keep on visiting our college campus from the start of August to the end of the year. Also, I got an opportunity to work as an intern at Roche company without a stipend.
Infrastructure: Security breaches and ragging were not encouraged by the college; they were strongly punished or suspended from the college. Also, when it comes to the dress code, students were asked to wear shalwars with shawls for girls, and coats were provided for the staff.
Faculty: Teachers actively recognized the talents of the students and motivated us to follow the correct path to lead a successful life. They were mostly commendable when we failed to do the assignment or failed to obey their instructions. Apart from that, they were friendly with us.

* Despite lower placements in recent years, companies like Wipro, Infosys, and Deloitte still visit the campus.

Teaching Quality:
* Teachers are generally friendly, well-qualified, and knowledgeable.
* Innovative teaching methods are used, and seminar sessions are organized regularly.

Infrastructure and Facilities:

* However, the hostel facilities and food could improve.

Campus Life:
* While there are limited spaces to relax and socialize, the college hosts various events and festivals throughout the year.

* Internship is compulsory during the second year, providing valuable industry exposure.
* Although some students might find internships without stipends, this can be beneficial for future career prospects.

Challenges:
* Strict attendance policy (73%) and semester exams can be challenging.
