A good placement and a great learning experience in college.

Placements: Placement has always been the best part of our college. CTS and Infosys are the mass recruiters. Other than this companies, ITC, infotech, deloitte, tech mahindra comes for placement. The avg. package in our year was 3.2 LPA. Around 90 percent students got placed in on campus drive. In our 2015 batch Infosys recruitment was one of the best.

Decent College for CS IT, Less opportunities for core stream students.

Placements: Placement is quite decent and ROI is also good considering the fees. 60%-70% of the students get placed to Cognizant technology or Infosys Ltd. Others are placed in various IT companies like - ITC Infotech, Accenture etc. Core company like : DCPL, Bajaj Electrical sometimes visit for recruitment but they're few and far between.

Totally satisfied with the quality of education provided to me. I'm proud to be a part of it.

Placements: Placements in the college were of a good standard. Almost 80% of the total batch strength got placed through on-campus drives. Rest of the students also got recommended to appear in various off-campus drives. The salary packages offered were almost similar to the market standards. Roles offered were mostly in the IT industry.

Review of St. Thomas' College of Engineering and Technology - STCET.

Placements: I'm placed in CTS. Our batch had better placements compared to other colleges in Kolkata with nearly 75% of the students getting placed. Infosys offered 3.6 and CTS offered 3.8 LPA. Some of the students got 5 LPA and 6.5 LPA packages from Hackwithinfy and CTS. Companies like Namura and ITC Infotech also visited the campus. From the batch passed out in 2018, 269 students were placed from college, and the number of offers was 141. In 2017, 258 students were placed and the number of offers was 240....

Review of St. Thomas' College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Companies like Infosys, CTS, and ITC visit the campus for placements. Don't have high expectation for core companies. IT placements are relatively easy. Nowadays, there can be more companies for placements. But appearing for GATE or other thing is tougher as you need to maintain 75% attendance for all subjects in college.

A good college suffering from lack of exposure. More exposure from industries will boost its stats.

Placements: Companies like Infosys, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra and ITC Infotech visited the campus for placements. Around 60% of the students were placed through campus placements, and 10% of the students were placed through pool campus drives conducted in other colleges. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA by ITC Infotech, and it was only for IT and CSE students. The lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA by some companies that conducted pool campus drives.

Good placements. Overall, an excellent college.

Placements: Placements are the best part of our college. If you prepare well, you can get placed easily. In our batch, out of 280 students, almost 260 students were placed. Among 260 students, 108 students were offered two jobs. The lowest salary package offered is about 2.8 LPA by Infosys and Cognizant, which are the mass recruiting organisations.

A review of St. Thomas College of Engineering.

Placements: The focus on placements is one of the main USP of this college. Any student who has a decent academic background and possesses good communication skills can easily get a job. But the lack of visits by core companies for placements needs to be improved. Therefore it is reducing the chances of electronics and electrical branch students to get a job in their domain. In our year, the placements have been really good when compared to other private engineering colleges under MAKAUT. More than 80% of t...

You will love this college if you love sports.

Placements: The companies that visit our college are mostly mass recruiters. In 2016 and 2017, students have performed quite well in the recruitment process, and 80% to 90% of the students got placed. For our batch, placements are a little difficult as most of the companies were going through a difficult time. The average salary package that a student can expect is around 3.50 LPA.

STCET is a very strict and well-maintained college.

Placements: In our batch, nearly 60% of the students were placed. In our senior batch, around 80% of the students were placed. Placements depend on your department as well because most of the companies visiting here are from the IT sector. So, the placement percentage is high for CSE and IT departments. The highest salary package offered was 6.70 LPA and the average salary package offered was 3.50 LPA.

The review of St. Thomas College Of Engineering - STCET.

Placements: The placement season for our batch wasn't that good when compared to that of previous years. Although many mass recruiters visited our college, a good number of students remained unplaced. But our college neither takes care of the unplaced students nor provides ample opportunities for them. Thus at the end of the course, the college will have a decent placement record as Infosys and Cognizant are two major recruiters picking students in multiple rounds. The placement scenario of the next batch w...

It is the best college for studious ones and not just for the meritorious ones.

Placements: Mainly, companies like Infosys and Cognizant visit the college to recruit students. They mainly focus on computer science and IT departments. The rest of the offers are given to the electrical and electronic department. The highest salary package offered is approximately 6 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3 to 4 LPA. They are recruited for the post of junior engineer trainee. Almost 70% of the students got placed from the batch passed out in 2018.

Overall, the faculty team should be increased, and the way of teaching should be modified.

Placements: Placements for our batch were tough due to the market situation. Placements for our seniors were good. Though we had a tough time, our college supported a lot. The college has tried in every possible way to place most of the students. In the end, approximately 75% of the students were placed. Companies like Infosys, Cognizant, Namura and ITC Infotech visited our college. The highest package offered was 6 LPA, and the lowest was 3.38 LPA.

Good faculty and a disciplined college.

Placements: There are good placements for focused and hard-working students. CTS and Infosys are the mass recruiters, and companies like Tech Mahindra Namura also contribute to the recruitment. You have to start preparing before two to three months, and you will be successfully be placed.

If you are studious & don't like any extra curricular activities, this college is absolutely ideal.

Placements: I got placed in Infosys from the on campus drive conducted by the college. There were other companies like CTS, ITC-Infotech, NRI Fintech etc. Came from on campus that year. Placement % is more than 60% in the college. The package offered by the companies are also pretty descent. The placement cell in the college is also doing good these days.

A Walk Through the Inside.

Placements: Okay so, actually, St. Thomas' College of Engineering and Technology provides overall good placements. If you visit their website you can find it out yourself. However last year (2017) due to Trump's political decisions on H1B visas the market wasn't too good and we did see an overall recession. Therefore last year the campusing was not very good however 50% of the student's did get placed. Our mass recruiters are Infosys and CTS. Placements: Placement of this college is not so good not so bad. Comparing to past 2 3 years placement of this year is not so good. Mass recruiters are tcs Infosys cognizant. Other companies are also their in the list Itc infotech, adp and others. Comparing this college to other colleges which comes under makaut the placement of this college is good.
