This college is a roller coaster ride filled with fun and fear.
Placements: The placements for life sciences are generally low when compared to computer sciences and physical sciences students. About 6 of my classmates were placed in Domex and the package offered was pretty average, 2.5 LPA. Another recruiter was the pharmaceutical company Zifo which offered an annual package of 4.5 LPA. They hired 3 of our college mates from the department of mathematics. We interned in different companies such as tri biotechnology, srm medical college, Balaji medical institute, Sankara Nethralaya Foundation, Apollo Medical Centre, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college library is huge, it has more than 10,000 books relevant to the different fields of study such as history, economics, political studies, social sciences, life sciences, physical sciences, computer science, mathematics, etc. Our library is well-equipped and is digitalised. The hotel offers good quality food and accommodation. Our canteen menu includes majorly South Indian food such as Dosa, Idli, Pongal, vada, sambar, curd rice, and different kinds of fried rice, biriyani, etc., and a few North Indian foods like Parathas, chapati, kurma rice. It also includes beverages like coffee, tea, fruit juices, and milkshakes.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly and supportive. They are approachable and they clear your doubts. The course curriculum is relevant and makes us ready to face the cooperative world or research field based on one's interests. The difficulty of semester exams is moderate. The right amount of preparation can get you through any difficulty.

Good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Companies like Google and Capgemini came for placements. But in my particular department, we prefer to pursue higher education or get employment in organisations that deal with pharmaceuticals and drugs. You only have a chance of scoring a good, decent job if you have a postgraduate degree.
Infrastructure: The labs are one of the best available in the city. The library stocks a wide variety of books, though there is less of fiction, the Wi-Fi is available only in the library but has a restriction on a lot of basic sites including YouTube and Wikipedia. We do not have a gym, which would be a great thing to have.
Faculty: The faculty members are very knowledgeable and helpful though there are a few people who tend to be partial. The curriculum is designed to be student-friendly. I am not very sure about placements in my department. There is a faculty feedback that happens every semester and management takes in the student's views and grievances.
