Our college provides decent placements and faculty members.
Placements: Top recruiting companies were Tech Mahindra, Intel, ICICI Bank, Mahindra, etc. Many IT companies from Mohali, Chandigarh, Zirakpur, and Delhi visited our college for recruitment. Few students were recruited through interviews.
Infrastructure: It was a very good college. There were 2 libraries on our campus. It was one of the good colleges for education purposes. Girls' hostel was available. The security facility was better in our hostel. Guest house was also available in this college.
Faculty: Faculty members were very good. They were supportive and cooperative. The HOD of the ECE department submitted some feedback for poor students but never let them leave the study. I am very satisfied with the faculty members of this college.
Other: Events were not conducted in this college.

Don't ruin your career in this college.
Placements: Only two local companies visited our campus, and there is nothing like placement in this college, which is simply a fluke. One company was Arnav Infosoft, and the other was Co-router. The job profile in Arnav Infosoft was business development executive for engineering students. This is the worst college in case of placement.
Infrastructure: I will rate 2 for the infrastructure out of 10. There is nothing in this college as the labs are outdated. The systems available now do not work properly. Games is simply restricted to a cricket tournament, and that too not played fairly. The classrooms are without A/C, and nobody cares about the students there.
Faculty: One of my the worst experience was the faculty over there. Most of them are simply ignorant, and they just don't know how to teach. They don't know the basic concepts as they were just cramping. They will bring their notebooks and will start dictating, and you start writing till the class is over.
Other: Every year, the fest used to be there on the campus, where local stars of Punjab will come and entertain.

The worst faculty and administration.
Placements: The placements are rare in this college. Almost 2-3 BPOs came for placements. They want to play with student's future, and it runs under Kurukshetra University that is also the worst university too. Results are usually declared after 8-9 months. Students got frustrated with this administration.
Infrastructure: Nice infrastructure, as well as a good campus, is available to spend your time. The only thing in this college is this infrastructure. 100 acres campus is enough for you to spend your time. Pretty safe too and strict discipline is there in the hostel. Library facilities and Wi-Fi are good.
Faculty: Poor faculty are there in this college. They don't care about students. Faculty members here are like uneducated and just target the students in the name of internal marks. Poor equipment in labs and most of the machines are not in working condition.
Other: Don't ever take admission in this college. Otherwise, you will be regret for your lifetime. Poor faculty and the worst administration is available. MD of this college is a moron, and he wants money and nothing else.

The worst college. You won't even be able to complete your education with this education system.
Placements: Not even a single company visits this college. The study system in this college is so poor that you won't be able to complete your graduation on time. It has a weak image, so just forget about any placement. Since the last 10 years, they didn't have any company on the campus. They just give us benefits like a lesser fee than other colleges and make us feel comfortable in the place.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure looks good from outside, but it is the worst from inside. The college doesn't even have any better equipment in their labs to assist and provide better knowledge. The classrooms are wide but in the worst condition. Toilets are too dirty. The labs are even worse than government hospitals. There is no sweeper. Everything is a mess. I suggest, please, don't even think of joining this college.
Faculty: Not even a single teacher is well educated. They don't know how to teach. All are freshers, graduates from the same college, and some of them are not even graduates yet. But, they are called teachers. They don't even know the basics of their subjects, but still, they are the teachers, and you won't see any principal over there as they always change their principal or teachers, this is just a money making business for its owner, nothing more than that. You will never get a better education over there.

Other: I did my B.tech from SDDIET with the batch of 2008-2012 and I had an excellent experience(especially from other curriculum activities point of view). The college campus was just great. I was a day scholar so I cannot tell you much about the hostel, but yes I went there sometimes with my hostel friends, and most of my hostel friends complained about the water supply and electricity problems. In our college, the crowd was excellent because students come from vibrant cities likes Chandigarh, Panchkula, Ambala and many more places all over from north India. Teaching was just average but I still remember a few names and faces who worked really hard in their teaching field like Sandeep Sangwan sir, who worked really hard to teach effectively.

Q:   How successful is the placement cell in securing jobs for BDS students at Swami Devi Dyal Group of Professional Institutions?

A:
{Source: BDS students & alumni}

Success Rate of Placement Cell for BDS Students

* No placement cell: According to several students and alumni, there is no placement cell specifically dedicated to BDS students at Swami Devi Dyal Group of Professional Institutions. Instead, students are encouraged to start their own private clinics or work in other clinics through visiting opportunities.
* Average Package: Although there is no placement cell, some students mentioned receiving an average package of around INR2.5 Lacs to INR4 lakhs. This indicates that while the institution may not have a formal placement program, some students still manage to secure decent salaries after graduation.
* Limited Job Opportunities: Unfortunately, the lack of a dedicated placement cell means that BDS students may face limited job opportunities compared to those with similar programs at institutions that have established placement cells.

Overall, while the institute has a strong focus on technical skills and patient care, its lack of a dedicated placement cell may limit the career prospects of BDS students seeking employment outside of starting their own clinics or working in existing practices.
