Best Review of SICSR, Pune (BCA course).

Placements: I am a 2024 batch student of BCA. Around 65% of students got placed, with the highest salary package of 20 LPA, and the lowest salary package of 2.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was 5 LPA-6 LPA. Top recruiters included Delloite, Infosys, etc. Around 65%-70% secured internships, with great roles in companies.

College life is good while the future is doubtful.

Placements: Till now, approximately 75 students have been placed for jobs, including other courses too. Yes, the IT sector demands experience, but the college has to try its best to bring out the maximum companies it can (which seems moderate here). The highest package offered is 22.5 LPA, and the lowest is 3.44 LPA. DE Shaw is our top recruiter.

Absolutely satisfied with the placement and infrastructure of the college.

Placements: In our course, almost 60% of the students get placed. The highest package was 8 lacs, the lowest package was 4 lacs, and the average package was 6 lacs. The top recruiting companies were TCS, Mahindra, Kotak, etc. In our college, almost 80% students get internship in companies like Mahindra with roles like data analytics, etc.

Good faculty and courses but really bad condition for infrastructure.

Placements: The Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research ensures 100% placement for students. The institute has lived up to its name for years and gives its graduates an average salary of at least 6 lacs. The topmost package offered in SICSR last year was 21 lacs. Many top-tier companies recruit students from SCSR, like Amazon, TCS, Cognizant, etc. Although SICSR claims to give 100% placements, it does not account for students backgrounds.

It has good placements but, the campus is not good.

Placements: Symbiosis is known for its placements. Recently, in the 2019-22 batch, 29 students from both BCA and BBA-IT were placed at Deloitte. The highest salary package for BCA was 21 LPA. Multiple MNCs arrive for on-campus placements, and there's a great opportunity to get a good start.

I am fairly satisfied with it.

Placements: The associate analyst role is offered by Deloitte, and the systems tech associate role is offered by DE Shaw. It also offers a business development associate role. Almost 100% of the students from our course secured an internship either through college or through personal means. The highest salary package offered is 21.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 5 LPA.

It provides good infrastructure, teachers, and facilities but the campus is small.

Placements: Students got placed in reputed companies through the campus placements program. The recruiters that visit were Amazon, Infosys, Deloitte, Tata Consultancy Services, DE Shaw India Pvt. Ltd, Cognizant, ZS associates, etc. The lowest salary package offered for the 2017-2020 batch was 2.15 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 6.80 LPA for BBA and IT graduates. The roles offered were company consultants, web developers, etc.

Overall, it is an average college.

Placements: Companies like Deloitte, Cognizant, Infosys, and others come to college for placements. There are rounds for placements and if a person gets selected for a position, then he/she cannot appear again for other companies in college. In the 6th semester, students have an option for an internship or can opt for a project which will be done in college itself.

Our college provides good teachers and a fairly good crowd.

Placements: I have no idea about the percentage of students get placed. But I do know that some companies come for entry-level jobs in the college. Top roles which are offered in the college are jobs like system administrator and such. Some internships are offered to students throughout the year. But I don't know much about them as I didn't apply for any of them. Top recruiting companies are some service-based companies.

Overall, the college is good.

Placements: Placements are up to the mark in this college. Top-notch companies like Deloitte, Infosys, LTI, Capgemini and a few others have already conducted their placement drive for SICSR this year, and students who sincerely appeared for the same got selected without any issue. Apart from this, various startups and Tier-II companies including companies from the same city have also selected students this year. Though the placements are just in the mid-way for this year and other good companies are also li...

Good Infrastructure and faculty

Placements: 100% of the students were offered the internship from the college itself. The placement was dependent on the candidate's work performance in the internship. A few companies gave direct placements and the average package offered was around 5 lakhs per anum. Companies like HSBC and Bajaj Finserv visited the campus.

Excellent infrastructure, average placements and effort making faculty.

Placements: The placements of my batch were average. Around 45%-50% who applied for the jobs were recruited. The lowest package offered was 1.5 lakhs and the highest package offered was 3.75 lakh. The companies which came to the campus were a few MNCs and were mostly startups.

Faculty: The faculty in college is great and knowledgeable and can provide a lot of information. There are many industry experienced faculty who bring a lot of corporate exposure. Infrastructure: The infrastructure isn't that great but the entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled and there are two computer labs and college provides us with the necessary software. Location: The college is located in the city and has all the necessary resources nearby. Placements: For undergraduates, the campus placemen...

The college has an amazing staff and extensive subjects. The campus is small. It didn't have placements during my time but now it's quite the opposite. The crowd is very good and a lot of activities are hosted by students. Teachers give a lot of handout materials for exams and assignments.

First of all this college is strictly for those who want to make their career in Information Technology as an analyst. The MBA-IT course touches all key points that you should have as an Analyst in an organization. Second is the fee structure and placements. This is the only college with the Symbiosis tag that has a very good ROI and good placement track record with the top Fortune 500 MNCs.

Being a non-residential program, you won't find the traditional campus but the lab facility, Wi-Fi, Canteen, lecture halls are really good. All the classrooms are Wi-Fi enabled. The library has well-updated editions and the reference material is extensive. 3 out of 5 faculty members are visiting faculty so that you can have a real experience of interacting with someone who is out there in the industry. They are approachable and ready to help in any way they can. This year we had iGATE, Thought...

The lecture halls are comfortable. The faculty is very knowledgeable and approachable. They not only guide us on the subject matter. They also advised us how to prepare for our placements.
