Placements: For placements in the mechanical branch, it is not very good at all in the college. But if your knowledge is good, then your placement is 100% done. This year, 2 students got Rs. 17 lacks per annum of the package. Also, the teacher of this college is good if you listen to them. This college also provides an internship which is a good one. I don't know about the placements because I am going for higher studies.
Placements: For IT and CS, 90% of the students are placed or going for higher studies. But, for the mechanical and civil branches, the situation is very poor. The students have no choice rather than higher study or civil service. For EXTC and ETRX, the core companies are there, but they select only 20-30% of the students, and the remaining have to go in IT sector.
Placements: You will get placed only if you have an above average CGPI. Most of the companies have a good package but if you have even 1 KT, then you are not allowed to attend the placement sessions. 70% of the eligible students were placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 8.5 lakhs PA by some of the dream companies. The lowest package offered was Rs. 1.5 lakhs PA. Most of the visiting companies were IT-based companies. The core mechanical and ETRX companies were hardly there. ...
Placements: We have awesome placements. Our training and placement cell works hard and ensures that each and every student is placed. They provide various internship opportunities to each and every student. Different types of seminars are conducted under the training and placement cell.
Placements: The placements provided by the college are very good for IT/computer science etc. Global companies visit the college for placements. Students get good places if they are good in the interview. Salary offered to select students is also good. Companies for all branches visit the college for placements.
Placements: The placements of civil engineering in this college are good and very good opportunity for the fresher students to experience. All though it's an private college but bigger companies prefer this college. The 4th preferable college to the companies. The companies like Infosys, Mahindra, Kotak, L&T visited the college.
Placements: Thakur college has the best placement record. Out of all the eligible students, more than 90% were placed. The rest chose to go for MS. Day 1 companies like Accenture and Infosys hired 250 students at once. More than 70 companies are visiting the campus. The best part is if by any chance you aren't placed(rare chance) still you will get the opportunity along with the next batch students.
Placements: Placements were good for my batch as well as my seniors' batch, as our college has day-one placements with bulk recruiters Accenture and Infosys, Around 50% of my seniors got placed on the first day. For my batch, it was 55%. Infosys, Accenture, Hexaware, Capgemini, Eagle, etc visited. Roles offered to the student were associate engineer in developing, or else an associate tester. We don't have the internship course in the academic year.
Placements: The college is one of the best when it comes to placement. There are many companies eager to select students. Every student who scores good marks gets placement without any problems. The companies are mostly global companies. Placement salary is good enough, but it also depends upon your performance in the interview.
Placements: There is a new placement cell called as TNP which helps us to improve our communication skills and many other. But lectures of those TNP cells are too boring; even then, we have to attend those lectures. For all other branches except mechanical and civil, there is a good placement, but in core branches, mechanical and civil, the placement is 0.1% in core companies and 30% in IT companies. The college needs to improve placement in mechanical as well as in the civil field.
Placements: Placement for the mechanical branch is pathetic. Our seniors rarely got a job into the core. Most of them are working as an IT employee. As TCET is very new for mechanical people, the core companies don't even show their interest to pick someone for the interview. Only 10 percent of the first batch of mechanical engineering got placed into their respective field. The average package that they were offered was around 2.75L.
Placements: 1. Very good placements. Around 80 to 85 percent of students get placement. 2. The highest package was 32 lacs in 2012. 3. The average package is around 2-3 lacs. 4. The college also offers internship opportunities. 5. Major recruiters are Infosys, TCS, Accenture, Capgemini, etc.
Placements: I guess the placements were quite okay for the previous batches. Almost 75-80% students were placed. Do not expect Microsoft, Intel or Google here. Day 1 companies are Infosys, Accenture and Wipro. Most of the students get recruited by them. The average package offered to previous batches was about 3.3-3.5 LPA. TnP cell would train you for placements that might help most of the students to clear their aptitude and interviews. Most of the posts offered include software tester and developer. Som...
Placements: The placements were good. Packages were around 5-6 LPA. Also, the staff is helpful and good enough. The placements could be termed as decent for an above average engineering college. I got external internship due to my personal contacts but college internships weren't that bad too.
Placements: There is no internship program in the college. They took extra classes for preparation and mock interviews for HR, technical, aptitude classes etc. The placement is good with an average salary of 3 lacs per annum. In the campus recruitment, students are usually hired as software engineers, but actual roles in the company is not clear like developer and tester. Companies which came for the campus recruitment are Accenture, Infosys, Godrej and Oracle.
Placements: Like the majority of Mumbai university colleges, IT companies are what will take 99% of the students and hardly any core companies visit the campus. Infosys and Accenture are major recruiting companies. They offer around 3.2 L to 3.6 L. The institute tries hard to get all the students placed and it tries for more than a year. Few companies with better packages visit but there is no guarantee of placements of students.
Placements: Placements for 2017 batch had the highest placement package of 10 lakhs to one student. Out of 416 eligible candidates, 239 were placed. Highest payroll is from Infosys and Accenture. Other companies that visit the college for campus recruitment include iGate, Zensar, Zycus, etc. Web Applications, Japan used to visit the college offering a package of 34 lakhs, but from this year, they discontinued the college. Internship opportunities are great and the college tries to connect students with var...
Placements: Placements were pretty decent, with almost everyone that I know landing a job. The average salary is not on par with that offered at other colleges. The highest salary offered - 10 lacs/annum and the lowest salary- 2 lacs/annum. The companies visited include Accenture, L&T Infotech, Infosys, Tech Mahindra to name a few. Software Developer position was one of the positions offered that I can recollect. TCET does not take an effort in getting internships for the students. ...
Placements: The placements were very good, but the salary offered was a little low than expected. All sorts of roles were offered to the students. The salary ranges from 1.8 to 6 LPA. More than 85 % of students were placed in our college. The internship was offered to a few students, and almost all CS and IT students were placed.
Placements: Placements were in IT firms during my course. 90% of the students got placed. Accenture and Infosys were the mass recruiters. After that, lot of other companies visited the campus. If still not placed, students got another chance to sit for an interview with the next batch. Packages offered was from minimum 2.25 LPA to 8 LPA maximum.
