It is a dream college for faculty, infrastructure and other facilities. Working for good placements.

Placements: The placement of the IT and the computer department in the college is very good. However, for the mechanical branch, the placement is average. The current scenario is that all the mechanical students are getting placed in IT companies, but the college is working hard on it. And soon there will be good placements for the mechanical engineering students. As for the senior's placement is concerned, one of the students got placed in the Volkswagen company.

Thakur College of Engineering and Technology is a institute with a class infrastructure and faculty

Placements: The placement process is really good for computer science and IT as many companies visited the college. Core mechanical companies are less likely to come but there are a few. Students from all branches can opt for a job in an IT company like Accenture or Infosys. The lowest package offered is about 2.5 lacs per annum to 33 lacs per annum (which is really rare). Out of the total students who opted for placements, above 65% got a job and the stats are improving. It is easy to get an internship thr...

An excellent college in M.U after D.J Sanghvi.

Placements: It is nice at almost 100%. If your CGPA is above 7, then you are good. Even 5 pointers get placements in some companies at a minimum salary of 20,000. So overall, placements are good and even if u are just passing the semesters, you will get placed. The placements r better than most other colleges in M.U. and also placement-wise, Thakur is considered as one of the best colleges in Mumbai.

One of the best colleges in Western suburbs with good placement and good infrastructure.

Placements: Placements are good with pre-placement training for students. The college has MOUs with various companies and this helps in placements as well. Each student has mentor which guides the student throughout the year. The college is visited by big MNCs as well as product-based companies.

Great placement records, experienced faculty and great staff makes TCET one of the best colleges.

Placements: The placements at TCET are one the best in a city like Mumbai where thousands of engineers graduate every year. In such a competition, the training and placement cell of this college helps nurture the hidden as well as the exposed talent of the students here. The highest placement offer seen was 35 LPA and the lowest was 25 LPA which is an achievement in itself. Kudos to the TCET training and placement team for doing such a great job.

Thakur College of Engineering and Technology: Review

Placements: I did not sit for the placement rounds since I was planning for Masters in the US. But, the placements were good for my batch as well as my previous batch. Companies like Infosys and Accenture did the mass hiring, and they all hired for software engineering roles and some for analyst positions. Almost all of the students got placed and the college worked on those who did not get placed at graduation.
