The only bad thing about the college is placements.

Placements: There is a placement office in our college, but they didn't invite any company to the college for placements. But they collect fees for placement training. This year, they inited two bank firms and BPO companies for all departments. This college will never provide you with a job.

I am dissatisfied because of those mentioned problems.

Placements: There are no campus recruitments. Some companies like an insurance company and IT firms visited with minimal salaries. Staffs particularly some have good knowledge and some won't. Placement cell was not well-maintained. Most of the students in our batch were placed in companies through off-campus, and some were not.

Thangavelu Engineering College is the place for fun.

Placements: We had placements in a few BPO companies like Sutherland, HCL BPO, CTS BPO, Omega, Access etc. A few IT companies like Wipro and TCS also visited the college for placements. We had the best placement record compared to the previous year. The core company named Bosch visited the college to offer placements for our batch only. I heard that placements were not good for the students of 2014, 2015 and 2016 batches.

Decent infrastructure and an average college in city limits.

Placements: There is a placement cell in the college management run by the college manager himself, but it is not worth enough to get you a job. But they give a very good personality development training which was useful when going for interviews outside. No internships were offered from the college. In 2013, only Tech Mahindra came for the campus interviews, and I heard that it was arranged by the students themselves. The management took no initiatives, and they placed only a few female candidates definite...

The college is not that great for our bright future.

Placements: They are collecting Rs. 60,000 from every student for placement, but they don't even bring one company for placement. I don't know why they're collecting this much money. Till now no one hasn't got any company to the campus. The placements are really worst in this college.

I am satisfied, but it needs to improve a bit.

Placements: There is no proper placement at all in the college. I am a mechanical engineer, and there is no core company placement, only BPO placement that too with the small number of vacancies. But they cost almost 20k for placement training, but they provide only 4 classes, that too only in my final year of college. But they charge 20k each year for placement training.

My college was average in teaching syllabus. Placements happened only for bpo firms. Infrastructure was just average again. They can try to bring in more relevant placements to each department. Office staff behaves rude most times, some professionalism cab be brought in.

My college is not good for long distance students. Also my college does not have good staffs only with M.Sc., B.E, graduates. Not proper lab facilities and road facilities. They don't even cover all the portions for the semesters. Worst management.no proper canteen.

Overall the college was good regarding faculty and other things, and the main things is the faculty and department head is free and jovial. The sports meet and culturals is good and we won some prizes in our department ,especially in departments they can help and support, and the hostel facilities and the food are average.

Average – the given picture was the way to college after the storm.

Placements: According to my seniors, not many students get placed through campus placements. We often have to find and secure internships on our own. I’m not sure about the highest, lowest, or average packages or the top recruiting companies.
