Undoubtedly the best college in the options available as per the rank.

Placements: We had a placement cell. Some of the good companies visited the campus. Placement percentage was fine but the highest package offered was less than 10 Lacs. Overall placements we're good enough as compared to other colleges in the zone. Deliotte, Sapient, Infosys, ZS were some of the good companies that visited the college.

PUSSGRC, Hoshiarpur honest review by 2015 alumni.

Placements: The average package is of 3.75 LPA and the highest offered package 14 LPA. At the time of my batch, our placements had very low results, but at the time of my senior batch, they had great knowledge about their field, so they got a really good package and the highest package also. In my college, students are very much responsible for their placements because we have one training and placement officer, so students own contact companies and tell them to visit our college.

UIET: Hub for Personal growth and Development with a lot of Fun!

Placements: Placements are good for CSE, IT and ECE, almost all eligible students get placed. In core branches the top 10% are placed in core companies as they are less in number. And another 30-40% get placed in non-core or KPO. Again there is no limitation for your placement if you are the guy the company wants. Good communication skills with basics of technical subject could do wonders. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, ZS, MuSigma, Gemini Solutions, HMEL, SRF, Mahindra etc. Visit the campus. UIET is the heart of the Punjab University.

Placements: The placement scenario is good. Averagely, 70-80% of the students get placed. The average package is about 3.5lpa, but if you have little more knowledge, packages like 22lpa are not far away. The reputed companies like Deloitte, Infosys, Adobe, Suzuki, Jugnu, etc., come for the placement offers with good packages.

The UIET has great value only as a major part/department of the Punjab University.

Placements: Various core companies like Honda, Eicher, Yamaha, etc., visit the college every year. The average package offered in the mechanical branch is 4.5-5.5 Lacs. However, many times, Infosys takes the mechanical student for a package of around 3 Lacs. Since 4 years, a few companies like Mahindra. The John Deere boycotted the UIET due to some crisis by students, but in 2018, they are most likely to visit the college again. One of my seniors got a package of 7 Lacs by Honda in the last year.

Extremely satisfied. Better days to come as the alumni network gets bigger and better.

Placements: The placements are good. Good companies like Deloitte, KPMG, MuSigma visit our campus. Also, the large recruiters like Infosys and TCS come for placements. The core companies in case of ECE are less, but get the opportunities in IT firms. Major startups like Jugnoo have also started visiting the campus in recent years. As the alumni network will keep expanding, more companies are likely to visit the campus in the near future.

Placements: The placements have a direct impact on college reputation as well as on new admissions. The college takes full responsibility for placing more and more number of students and perform its responsibility up to the mark. Many students got placed in many reputed companies such as Tech Mahindra, Accenture, Deloitte, Infosys, and many more. On an average package offered to students was about 4-5 lacs per annum. Placements: The placements in the college are average, and the package is about Rs 3.75 lakhs per annum, and highest is around Rs. 6.5 lakhs in branches like the IT, CSE and ECE having around 90% percent of the placements. The Infosys is the mass recruiter for this college, and many local companies of the Chandigarh and Mohali also offer a good package.

Absolutely happy because of atmosphere and faculty

Placements: Placements are good in biotech, especially in AIIMS. The scope is good but no one studies and that is why placements went average in India, but outside, they are good. Enjoyment is there everywhere in the college with a good behaviour of students. The salary offered is average but prestigious companies visited the campus.

Top service-based companies like Wipro, Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys, etc hired most of the students as well as some Chandigarh product-based companies hired some of the brilliant students in my senior-most batch. Joyful environment, the campus of festival.

Placements: Placements are good for CSE. Deloitte and ZS give the maximum package if one opts for campus placements, at 7 LPA. But at the end of the day, one has to struggle hard to get what he exactly deserves. After completion of graduation, one may get enough opportunities to excel.

A college worth choosing for if you missed the top ones.

Placements: The placements of all the eligible students from the past two batches I know of are almost 100 percent, especially for the CSE and IT streams which have a whopping 100 percent placement record and most of the students I know got placed in good companies and with good offers. Many of them even got two or three offers as well. The maximum salary offered was around 10 lacs by Jugnoo and the minimum was offered at 3,80,000 by Infosys for the 2016 batch.

Placements: Placements are good enough. The highest package in 2015 was 20 LPA and the average package was 4.3 LPA. There are mass recruiters like Infosys who have recruited 150+ students irrespective of the branch. If you have a branch like IT/CSE, there is 100% placement. Also, 3 students of EEE were placed in PSU's. Many of mechanical student have cracked government jobs via GATE.
