Not too satisfied by UIT, BU.

Placements: My batch 2015-2019 (B.E in Electronics and Communication Engineering) contained almost 70 students out of them 50 students joined via JEE or WBJEE Rank, 10-15 via direct admission, rest 5-6 lateral entries joined into 2nd year. Among all of us 30-40% students got placed via off campus drive in TCS, CTS, Silicon Valley and some non reputed companies also. Top salary offered 7.2 Lacs per annum, minimum 1.2 Lacs per annum. Top roles offered system engineer. 40% students got internship from NSCBTTC...

The highest package: 6 LPA and the lowest package:1.2lpa 6.20% of students joined as an intern like some good communication through internal mainly electronic base companies like Hexaware, intel, etc.

The review of University Institute Of Technology, Burdwan University.

Placements: There is nothing like campus placement in this college, and even there was no TPO in this college for the last many years. If you join this college then after completing the course you'll only get a Bachelor's degree and nothing else, unless you make some extra efforts in getting a job. Students who got placed till now they have done it themselves. College did nothing for them, and they all have placed through off campusing. If you wish to join this college, then you are going to do the worst wi...

No, I don't know about it.

Placements: Approximately 50% students placed in my course. The highest package 10LPA. The lowest package 3 LPA. Recruiting company TCS. Internships field has vacant now. There is no any company comes for recruiting students for internship. And it is not good college for any students. Bad college.

There should be the uphill improvement in placements and faculty.

Placements: All placement drives conducted are off-campus drives. No top companies visit the campus for placements. The average salary package offered is 2.5 LPA for on-campus placements. The highest salary in off-campus placements is 7.5 LPA, which is offered by the IT company. The management company offered 9.5 LPA salary package, and core instrumentation and mechanical companies offered 7.5 LPA salary package. Overall, there are decent placements for decent students.

Know before you join -University Institute Of Technology.

Placements: The placement in our college is not up to the mark. Nearly 80% of the students do not get placement. Companies like TCS CTS WIPRO etc. Comes in our college. If you are having good grades then you can be sure of getting job. This year they are offering a placement of around 3 LPA which is 15k per month.

It is a good college to prepare for GATE.

Placements: Very few companies visited our campus for placements. Most of the companies are IT companies. CSE and IT departments have the most placements. About 40-45% of the students get placed, and most of them are off-campus placements. This year, an ECE student got the highest salary package of 7 LPA. The college does not provide any training or internships. Students have to secure on their own.

This is an average college. I don't recommend this college to anyone.

Placements: The placement cell is a farce. No internships are offered for students, and they don't conduct any placement training sessions. Very few students get placed in reputed organisations. The highest salary package offered during our year was 5 LPA. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 5,000 per month. Only 1-2 companies visit our college for placements, and they only offer the roles related to software or IT and BPO or KPO roles. No core companies visit the campus for placements.

This is a government college.

Placements: Placements in the college are not much very good. The placements for the students of civil engineering are very poor. The placements for our seniors batch also were very poor. Last year, the highest salary package offered was 7 LPA, and the lowest offered was 1.5 LPA. Only CSE, IT, and ECE students get average placements. Here, TCS and some IT-companies visit and offer jobs for some students with low salary package.

Our college is not very good, but it is the best place to prepare yourself.

Placements: About 60% of the students got placed in the previous year from CSE branch. The lowest salary package of 3.6 LPA and the highest salary package of 12 LPA are offered in our college. About 40% of the students got internships from our course in companies like TCS and Wipro. But overall, placements provided by our college are not good.

Placements: Horrible situation. 90% students of my department did not get placed. Others got job with minimal pay and low levels like sales and BPOs. No technical or core companies came for on campus. TCS had off campus from where only 1 student per department got placed.

Placements: Placement depend on you if you have guds then no body stop you to be placed. Placement is average you cant expect salary as IIT and NIT but overall its okay. 50% placement is done here. I hope in upcoming year placements will up to the mark. This college is reputed college in west Bengal. This year placement is far good from previous year and now administration starts to take responsibility. Overall, review by alumni.

Placements: IT companies like TCS, and Tech Mahindra visited the college. Core companies are less though pool campusing happens. The faculty are supportive, but there is a lack of interest from placement cell which needs to be improved. If you are good with technology, then no need to worry. Overall, it is okay.

An engineering college without proper placement is a bit frustrating.

Placements: If anybody wants to join this college, then he/she shouldn't be expecting of getting placed. Till 2016, the placement was above average as multinational companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, etc., did come for campusing and students also participated in pool campusing of companies like Capgemini, etc. From 2017, TCS and Tech Mahindra, both the companies stopped conducting placement drives in UIT. So, the college conducted pool campus and on-campus drives of some small IT, RPO, KPO, BPO, etc., compa...

I am satisfied with this college. Worth of money.

Placements: The placements are not much good, where they are just good. From the previous year, at least some senior was placed and also this year company came because of TPSO (Training placement officer), and even 32 students have placed in civil department. You will not get a handsome money salary. Its depend on you how you will increase your salary. There are many offline campusing. Most Important thing is that if your desire to get good placement then doesn't come to the college else go to private colle...
