- Read moreCandidates must have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Mathematics, Physics along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology as optionals or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh along with bridge course or courses conducted by it for candidates enrolled during 2000-2002 and subsequent batches, or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh, provided that candidates who have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optionals along with the bridge course examination in Mathematics conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh shall also be eligible for the Bio-Technology course. Candidate must have scored minimum mentioned marks and 40% marks for candidates belongs to reserved category.

My Journey at Vaagdevi College .
Placements: The percent of students placed from the course is 70%. The highest package offered in my course is 10 lacs per annum, the average package is 6 lacs per annum, and the lowest package is 4 lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies for my course are Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, HCL, etc. The percentage of students who got internships from my course is 60%. Top roles offered are software engineer and associate software engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is the best in my city. The facilities offered to my department are free Wi-Fi over the campus, classrooms with good architecture, separate buildings for different departments, a central library and digital library, an incubation center, etc. The quality of food in the hostel is average, and the food in the canteen is good. We have emergency medical facilities like first-aid and a good playground for playing sports and games.
Faculty: The teachers in my college are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good in my college. The faculty maintains good relations with students and encourages them. The course curriculum is the latest, relevant, and makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are average in my college, and the pass percentage is 70%.

Placements: The placement percentage in our college is 80%. The recruiting companies are Accenture, Genpact, and Wipro. The highest package of our college is 15 LPA, and the lowest package is 4 LPA. 60% of our college students were placed with internships at Genpact and Accenture.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college has different blocks for each branch. And our college is 50 acres of land surrounded by agricultural fields. Our college has separate hostels for girls. We have well-equipped labs, sports and wifi all over the college.
Faculty: Faculty supports the students very well. Each faculty has an experience of 7 to 8 years of knowledge on their subjects. Some of the faculties have doctorates. Semester exams are not much difficult if we listen to the class. Faculty guides us very well to improve our communication skills.
Other: I chose this course to improve and gain knowledge in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Our college conducts events on our course. The college conducts cultural festivals also every year for 2 days.

Placements: The students of our college were placing top multinational companies like TCS, WIPRO, Infosys and other with average package of 5LPA. The highest package was 10LPA. We also have internships from 3rd year to make students experienced with company and their works. Mostly students, who got placed were from CSE Branch.
Infrastructure: We have Free wi-fi Availability, which can use by students and faculty members. We have Digital library, where we use computers to complete our projects and other programming works. The sports will be given less priority. There is availability of hostel for girls. We also have canteen separately for students and lecturers.
Faculty: The Teaching was just awesome. They help us much in clearing all our doubts after completion of chapters. We also have industrial visitation to make students practically knowledge with the subject. In every semester, 60 to 70 percentage of students get passed with good percentage.
